An excellent exhibition @polyfalmouth curated by Helen Trevaskis @thetrevaskis and with work from one of our studio users Gis Harris!

It was lovely to see what our studio users get up to when they are not using the facilities here at @create.cic !

Got my name in lights at last 🤣
What a week I’ve had @polyfalmouth with 20 other artists in the show “Fall with the Crows” curated by the wonderful and prolific @thetrevaskis. Thank you.
I’ve met some amazing people from around the world , reconnected with a tutor I had on my foundation, Mr David Westby.
Sold a painting , thank you Brit and Guy 🙏 , a few prints , thanks to Andy @vericapta and hopefully made some new friends. To all the visitors , and there was a lot , thank you so much for your time .
Also came home with the Corvid Chorus by Adam Drouet, thank you, pics to follow once I’ve hung it.
Last but no means least, @the.creative.rebellion for your continued support and guidance. by @gisharrisart

I am ever so thrilled that this piece “murder by numbers” has sold at the “Fall with the Crows” exhibition @polyfalmouth . I can’t directly thank the buyers yet but they are friends of @thetrevaskis so hoping I’ll catch them when they pick it up on Saturday, but until then thank you 🤩 by @gisharrisart

The latest addition to my creepy collection picked up from @create.cic and added to my window display @goat.gallery71
Titled “Stranger Thing”
It depicts the moment our soul leaves our bodies
Standing at 40cm , easily my biggest piece by a long way.
it’s not quite finished yet though as I’ve a couple of small features to be added , a bit like Kintsugi but my version. taken in Hayle by @gisharrisart

Had a great morning at the U3A art group today. I demonstrated wet on wet technique with watercolours. Some great pieces were made by the group, and everyone had a great time. Thanks for having me guys , see you in Dec I hope. taken in Hayle by @gisharrisart

Sent this beauty off for bisque firing today @create.cic , it was a tense journey as it was bone dry and really brittle, had a couple of minor mishaps but I think it’ll be ok 🤞 by @gisharrisart
