Cross Boss V10 First Ascent

Glad to add a distinct line to the wall that also tops out! Figuring out the big cross was one of those eureka moments where you realize the line is gonna be sick. Had to rope down to find holds for the top, then wasn’t too bad. This wall is way fun and roadside! Props to @christian.gleasonnn for developing this wall initially! taken in Big Cottonwood Canyon by @gitboulder

Out and Back Again V8? Maybe FA?

Spending the whole day at 1 boulder while trying to keep 2 toddlers happy and alive really opens up your perspective for variations 😅. Only 2 known problems on this boulder beforehand, left with having done 7 distinct lines on it. Most probly been done before, some maybe FAs. Either way was quite a fun climbing day! FTM Sit V9 FA

From a bit ago, this was the original start we tried to put up for FTM but the start hold exploded and it wasn’t that fun to start from there anymore. Until I found the secret sloper hold I go to first now off the broken rail 😅. Sweet endurance test piece with around 12 moves, couple big ones taken in Holy Grail by @gitboulder

Sizzle Grip V12

Fell after the crux 4.5 years ago and never really got psyched to go back til today. Frustrating move but fun to stick! Debated the top out for a whole minute before committing. Wasn’t expecting to use such a precarious foot up there! Took about as many tries as Duct Tape?! taken in Little Cottonwood Canyon by @gitboulder

Green Lung V11

Second move took me a long time to figure out then decided to opt out of the low percentage techy third move and just dyno for the lip. My mind put things in motion that it soon gave up on but my body kept doing it! Very surprised to stick to the top!! Such a weird dyno off of 2 miserable holds. LH friction Sloper pocket and RH awkward crimp that I had very poorly. Fun stuff! taken in Leavenworth, Washington by @gitboulder

9 Miles V9 First Ascent

An adventure day deep in the Uintas with @gabehargett looking for boulders. Found a couple cool ones but this one was for sure the best. After 45 min of building a solid wooden landing, we then needed about 2 hours to figure out beta. Almost gave up then realized the top was just committing! Really fun one! 9 miles of hiking 🥵 taken in High Uintas Wilderness by @gitboulder

Went to send Hagakure and came away with just a flash of a surprisingly techy warmup 😅. Leggo My Ego V6. Definitely gonna be back for Hagakure! Such a cool boulder taken in Index, Washington by @gitboulder
