"Dream of a shadow"

Plato said art is a copy of a copy.
A shadow of a shadow.
A beautiful distraction that pulls us from truth.

He feared it ,
because it stirred the soul,
moved emotion,
couldn't be measured.

He called it dangerous.
Untrustworthy.
Twice removed from reality.

But what if he got it backwards?

What if art doesn’t pull us away from truth
What if it leads us back to it?

What if emotion is not the threat,
but the compass?

"The Art of Demask”

The Mask Is Not My Enemy
She protected me when I needed her most.
Helped me survive.
Helped me feel loved.

But over time,
she grew tight.
Too polished.
Too perfect.
Too far from who I really am.

So I began to take her off,
gently, with gratitude.
Not to reject her,
but to return to myself.

Now, I move from essence, not image.
Not mask, but mirror.

I don’t walk this path to impress.
I walk it to embody.

To live as a work of art.
To let beauty hold the ache, not cover it.
To show up when it hurts,
and create even when I have no answers.

Art is not my escape.
It’s where I meet myself again and again.
Where my truth gets louder than my fear.

I pour my shadows, my longings, my tenderness into form
and they answer in silence, color, and clarity.
This is not performance.
It’s presence.

I am Gitte Spinder.
A flame. A mirror.
A tender revolution in motion.

The Relationship is the Retreat

Most people enter relationships to feel safe, seen, wanted. And while that’s human… it’s also a setup for disappointment. Because the moment your partner stops giving you those feelings, the love feels gone.

But what if relationship isn’t here to fulfil us,
What if it’s here to grow us?

Conscious relationship isn’t about “working” in the usual sense. It’s about becoming. Becoming the kind of person who values growth over comfort. Honesty over harmony. Love over ego.

Real conscious love is fierce. It asks you to own your shadows. It lets you be triggered, and stay.
It welcomes the uncomfortable, the awkward, the truth you’re scared to speak.

It says: “I love you enough to let you be you. Even if it stretches me.”

The conscious couple doesn’t measure success by how long they stay together, but by how real they’re willing to be with themselves, and with each other.

It’s not about finding “the one.” It’s about becoming someone who doesn’t abandon themselves when it gets real.

You own your triggers. You speak your truth, even if your voice shakes. You hold your partner’s darkness without trying to fix it. You stop performing “perfect love” and start practicing real presence.

And somehow, through all that truth-telling and trembling… Love deepens.

Not the Hollywood kind. The soul kind. The kind that feels like freedom and devotion at the same time.
