my solo digital and durational performance is online for anyone to watch. I finished this project in October 2022, from my Dis-Tanz-Solo funding, for which I directed, performed and created the soundtrack. Obviously I couldn’t have done this all alone, so I counted with the amazing talent of @elissa.debrito on the camera and edition, @brunogola on programming and @pjliveira on sound mixing. I also had some outside eye from @melissafss 🙏🏼 In case you didn’t know, I can make a tiny synth sound like an evil guitar. Check this performance out at a computer, with headphones. Link is in my Bio, and story behind it can be found on the website. 🪐 #distanzsolo #dachverbandtanzdeutschland #neustartkultur #volcakeys #contemporarydance #contrmporarydancer #improvisation #berlin #solodanceproject #digitalperformance by @giuleecruise

RESTO is an experimental process where sound and movement feed one another in real time. SOUND ON to hear it. Movement generates noise, which inspires movement. RESTO is a word that defines all residue, the trace left. A short solo performed at @richten25_space (thank you for the invitation) and that i’m ready to put out there! Thank you @pjliveira for the guidance on sound and the inspiration. taken in Localiza Aí Bebê by @giuleecruise

MÚRMUR is Giuliana Corsi, Tengal Drilon, and Pedro Oliveira. Through electronic, cinematic sounds and improvised movement, the trio works on the gaps and fractures of listening to space. Deeply inspired by Antonio Bispo dos Santos idea of “transfluence,“ where knowledge – like rivers streams and rainwater – flows across forms, places, and time, MÚRMUR brushes against the linearity of a single trajectory, privileging instead what lies between and beneath gestures. @giuleecruise @tengal @pjliveira #noise #improvisation #dance #modular #sergemodular by @giuleecruise

A SINGULAR FLOW - weekend intensive workshop 📆 SATURDAY & SUNDAY 03.10 + 04.10 - 14:00-18:00 📍Bethanien - Studio 2 — Mariannenplatz 2, 10997 (Kreuzberg) ❤️‍🔥Level - Open 💸Price - 75 Eur. 💸Solidarity price available* 💸SINGLE DAY: 40 euros per day until 25/09, 45 after that. Apply via giulianakolling@gmail.com 🗺️ ABOUT The dancers will spend the 8-hour workshop learning and unpacking methods of movement, using contemporary dance and improvisation vocabulary to research in movement with narrative tools, such as momentum, rhythm, musicality, sound, isolation, textures, speed, as well as mechanical tools, such as direction, dimension and projection of energy and movement. These tools create a malleable and available body for dance and expression, as well as clarity in movement. These exercises activate awareness and focus to play with details and unlock whimsical and haptic qualities to the dancing body - allowing for new connections of the limbs in relation to the spine to be formed. In this process, we also will work in groups, creating instant compositions, and advance on the practice using contemporary dance techniques such as Flying Low and Passing Through, Floorwork and some accessible Capoeira Elements. The class maintains basic and intermediate elements that belong to contemporary dance, and by the end, we create and learn a sequence that combines instant composition, musicality, precision, floor work, and choreographed elements, including textured and detailed gestural movement work. This workshop does not culminate in a performance. *please contact Giuliana and inquire about it. Solidarity spots are limited. by @giuleecruise

Looking back at the start of Platform 14 week 💫 We kicked off the festival with an improvisation session for our performing artists, led by dancer & choreographer @giuleecruise and sound artist @carlaboregas ❤️ Creating connections between artists is at the heart of Platform 14. The session gave everyone a chance to meet, move, listen and create together before sharing the stage across three different evenings. #create #perform #connect by @giuleecruise
