THE MORNING OF

I got ready in a custom Electric Feathers caftan sourced by Desert Stars Vintage, surrounded by our moms and sisters. We gifted our sisters vintage Missoni ponchos and silk shorts, and custom caftans for our moms to get ready in. Their bouquets were perfectly color-matched to their gowns. Andre got ready with his dad and best man.

We wanted the morning to feel like a serene beach-resort day, from the getting ready looks to the atmosphere… and it was exactly that: effortless, dreamy, and peaceful.

Today you turn another year older. I’ve always loved your birthday because, until February, we’re only a year apart. The winter months, when we’re closest in age, hold my favorite memories. We’d stay in our pajamas all day and make movies on Mom’s camera. Even though I was the older sister, I’d get scared at night and crawl into your bed.

You turn 31, but when we’re together, I forget. I still feel like we’re just girls. It’s only when I catch a glimpse of you across the room, mid-conversation, and see an elegant, sparkly woman that I realize how much time has passed.

This year has been so exciting. Working side by side with you. Watching you get married. Watching you become the incredible woman you were always meant to be. We never let ourselves get too busy for each other.

I want to commemorate this special year, to take a moment to remind you far you’ve come, what you’ve made for yourself and how much love surrounds you in this moment. No one is more capable than you.

#OTMWedding 💍 #OTMBride @giuliagiancola—founder of @giuliagiancolaevents—married Andre Montagne in a three-day celebration across the land, city, and sea of Mallorca. 🇪🇸✨ The weekend culminated in a reception at @cap_rocat, where the fortress’s dramatic architecture met the bride’s vision of romance with a touch of modern refinement. “We wanted the setting to feel both monumental and intimate, transforming the historic pavilion into a space layered with color, texture, and light," Giulia shares.
