Raising good humans means teaching them to make the right choices, even when no one is watching. The goal isn’t to be there for every decision they make, but to raise them with the values, kindness, and confidence to make the right ones on their own.

raising them in the state of the world we’re currently living in makes my heart feel heavy… sigh. by @giulianaaaa

How do you accurately express the gratitude you feel for your partner when words just sometimes aren’t enough? Since the topic of retirement first came into conversation, I’ve been imagining how it would make me feel when the moment actually came. Now that it’s here, there’s a flood of emotion that comes over me. There’s too many to name.

Your goal was to play in the NFL for 10 years and you did just that. How many can say that they actually lived out their dream and that they achieved their goal? You can. Your dedication to the sport is immeasurable. There were so many times where we would look at each other and just wonder what would come next… late night conversations of not knowing when to walk away from the game you love. Your perseverance through every single obstacle that you have faced throughout this journey has left me speechless. I’m honored to be your wife.. I’m honored to be able to love you, I’m honored to be able to know you. Thank you for taking me alongside this journey with you, I’m so proud of everything you are.

I have no idea what life has in store for us now, but I know that whatever it is.. it’ll be our next greatest adventure. The kids and I love you so much. No more wondering when we’ll see you next because you’re retiiirrreedddd and will be home with us fuhevvvaaa yippee!!!

You’re our champion, always. Congratulations ❤️ by @giulianaaaa
