Last sunday I had the pleasure to bring my first ever vaporwave set as Blokebuster at the @dystopian.oasis "Virtual Mall" URL Music Festival. Still can't believe the very warm reception it got! The live chat was on fire 🍻 it was so beautiful witnessing all the enthusiasm to music I never thought it would have reached other parts of the world.

For the video aspect, I didn't want a single camera angle. I aimed to create a sort of multi-cam along with the visuals that were being played on a projector and my beloved crt. I wanted it to look like a concert with more angles and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

On June 21 I had the immense pleasure to open the second day of the 島の水 Fest, ran and hosted by @fiji_daze 🍻🍻
The whole day was a blast! Kudos to everyone, each set was a heater! We aplogize if the weather was unbearably hot, these days. Our fault 🤣🤣

Reprising the set design and layout of my first set at Dystopan Oasis' Virtual Mall URL, this time I picked a mixture of good vibes songs and more energetic ones, to reflect the summertime 🏄‍♂️ here you can see some excerpts.

It's been wonderful witnessin everybody having fun in the live chat on Twitch. It really warmed my heart 💜

"Raccontare l'umanità attraverso dei mostri."

Se dovessi stringere tanto, forse è così che definirei Undertale.

Ne ho già spese tante di parole su quest'opera, e non credo smetterò di farlo presto. Ma non è del suo humor o dei suoi temi ciò di cui voglio parlare oggi, ma delle persone che ha radunato attorno a sé.

Persone dalle mille sfaccettature, e dalle personalità più diverse. Persone con le proprie paure, ansie, speranze e sogni. Persone che si sono sentite rappresentate da questo gioco e dai personaggi che lo inabitano. Persone che si sono sentite messe a nudo da esso. Persone che sono state toccate nel profondo e a cui è stato lasciato un segno indelebile, che le ha cambiate per sempre. Persone colorate, strane, buffe, simpatiche, entusiaste, commosse, e dai costumi più appariscenti e calorosi a cui si potesse pensare.

Per me, alcune sono solo sconosciuti, volti con cui ho scambiato uno sguardo e forse qualche parola.

Altre sono pur sempre conoscenze, ma con cui ho percepito una sintonia più profonda, che forse col tempo potrebbe evolversi in qualcosa di più grande.

Altre ancora sono amici e famiglia, persone davvero speciali con cui sento di arricchirmi ogni volta che ho la possibilità di passarci tempo insieme.

E una è la persona che amo, che mi valorizza e mi completa.

Porterò i ricordi di questa settima nel cuore. Della gita a Rotterdam e del concerto; delle chiacchere sul Capitolo 5; di un bel film visto al cinema; delle serate in compagnia di amici; del viaggio a Milano in occasione del compleanno della mia dolce metà; delle persone con cui ho trascorso la serata e di quelle che ho incontrato a teatro; dell'aver celebrato l'apparizione del personaggio di cui vestivo i panni col suo bastone; dell'ennesimo pianto che mi sono fatto quando l'orchestra ha riprodotto l'OST 71, "Undertale". Di aver fatto partire l'applauso quando è comparsa la frase che mi ha cambiato la vita: "Despite everything, it's still you", e del mio amore che è stata la prima a seguirmi.

Grazie a tutti voi che avete contribuito a rendere questa settimana ciò che è stata. Mi arricchite la vita.

Available on WVSQD's YouTube channel the full visual album of "Play Time", my latest work as Blokebuster.

Last year I met the WVSQD guys in Brooklyn, on the occasion of Flamingo Fest 2025 🍻 Thanks to a boost of creativity the whole vacation gave me, once back home I wanted to make an album resonating with that energy. It came naturally asking them to work on a visual album. It kind of felt coming full circle 🌊🌊🌊
