The last piece I made for my collection, and perhaps the one that means the most to me.
A piece that carries a memory of my grandmother.

Built on a lightweight wool base and entirely covered in layers of pleated black silk organza, the silhouette follows the body through gathered and sculptural volumes.

The puffed sleeves are finished with antique black lace at the elbows, backed with aged cotton, the same fabric used for the inner lining. The inside is finished with hand-sewn smooth velvet trims and a hidden fastening with small iron hooks.

Black passementerie, fabric-covered buttons and velvet ties frame the neckline, while removable hand-sewn black feather epaulettes add a darker, almost ethereal touch.
