⭐️ #TheActorsHomeStarProject — GIUSEPPE TUZZOLO

Our member Giuseppe Tuzzolo plays the leading role of Fabio in the feature film Fabio’s Journey, directed by Simon Schloemer.

Fabio is a young man facing serious financial trouble while also struggling with the loss of his father. In a desperate attempt to save his restaurant from ruin, he becomes involved with the mafia — a choice that leads to devastating consequences.

Set in Duisburg, Fabio’s Journey is a dark and emotionally charged mafia drama about guilt, betrayal, loyalty, and the painful search for truth.

The role has already brought Giuseppe two Best Actor awards at film festivals, marking an important achievement in his acting career and giving him the opportunity to lead a 90-minute feature film with demanding and emotionally complex scenes.

The film is currently on its festival run and is scheduled for release in 2027, with selected screenings planned in theaters including Filmforum Duisburg and Bambi Düsseldorf.

Congratulations to Giuseppe and the whole team behind this project! 🎬✨
We love seeing our members taking on powerful leading roles and bringing complex, emotionally layered characters to life.

I am incredibly proud to have received an award in my parents’ country of origin. Especially since the character Fabio, just like me, is an Italian who was born and raised in Germany. So it was a wonderful challenge for me to incorporate these two identities into my performance. Especially this year, when I visited my whole family in Naples again, I realized that there’s actually much more of “Italy” in me than I thought—combined with the qualities that define life in Germany. I’m also very happy about the award from France, because next year our team will be attending the annual event of @redmovieawards in Paris: I lived there for half a year, so I’ll have another chance to visit this incredibly beautiful city. Thank you for this recognition!!! ❤️

Late summer is making one last appearance before the cold days set in. For me, it was an exciting summer because I got to do some thrilling auditions. This time, all the languages were represented: German 🇩🇪, Italian 🇮🇹 and English 🇺🇸. For me as an actor and singer, it’s always a fresh approach, because each language brings its own unique characteristics that blend with my personality. I’m looking forward to more great opportunities in all these languages! On top of that, I went into the recording studio with my band for the first time to record a song. 🎙️ What an amazing experience!!! I love it when ambition and passion come together to create great, productive work! These fotos really capture the late-summer vibe: sunny ☀️, yet with an urban feel. 🖤

New relationship. New plans. New opportunities. From the inside, everything can feel like life is finally moving forward.

But sometimes the people who know us best notice something we can’t see yet.

In this scene from I LOVE YOU MY NARCISSIST, excitement about everything that’s changing meets a very different perspective from someone who remembers who Emily was before the relationship.

Because losing parts of yourself doesn’t necessarily feel like losing yourself while it’s happening.

I’m excited to share a scene from the film @ilymn.film with you! I play the character Lucas, Emily’s best friend. Lucas is a very empathetic character who cares deeply about his friends. Through his funny personality, he tries to warn his best friend. We’ve probably all been there: we worry about our loved ones, but we don’t always know how to bring it up with them. For me, it was a great shoot because I found the combination of the seriousness of the situation and the character’s playful nature really exciting to act. Thank to my scene partner @lolavasco, to Ali and Stef from @alefcinepictures and to the whole crew 📽️

These photos are already over two years old, and I’m sure you know how it is: you immediately realize how quickly time flies. For me, it’s also a brief moment of calming down. In the stress of everyday life, we sometimes forget what beautiful moments we’ve had during this time. I sometimes find it hard to post positive things on social media because I’m aware that we’re living in difficult times. However, we must never let anyone take away our joy of life, and we should also be proud of what we’ve achieved!!! Thank you @artandactors.photography for capturing that moment in my life.

An evening I’ll never forget: the Soul Ensemble concert, and I got to sing a solo. Of course, I immediately thought of soul singer Bill Withers and I chose the song “Just the Two of Us.” I love the message of this song and I believe we need more soul, especially in these difficult times. I’ve grown so much during the rehearsals and I owe it all to you amazing musicians and beautiful souls!
