Motie Concert - Saturday 📂

Name: Helios x Gizem Öz (live)
Date: 24 October 2026
Time: 20:00 - 21:00

Composer, sound artist and DJ Gizem Öz creates layered soundscapes using field recordings, electroacoustic instruments and synthesizers. Her work explores how listening can deepen perception. Her performances at Giegling, Waking Life, Garage Noord and Wildeburg connect that practice to the night.

Around Helios, her live ambient performance invites you to follow the details: a changing texture, a lingering sound, a reflection moving through the room.

Concert tickets for Saturday night are on sale. by @gizemoz__

Last weekend at Soft Power during Berlin Art Week 🧡
Discovered some beautiful artworks and music, had great conversations, and the best time with friends.

Soft Power brings together art, music and social dialogue, exploring how culture and collective experiences can shape the way we connect and live together.

Thank you so much @berlinartlover for the invitation✨ by @gizemoz__

Closing the summer in the best way. Woodstock has always had a place in my heart, and yesterday was such a beautiful one

Looking back at May ✨

I spent five weeks in Berlin at Spaes Lab, continuing my research on composing for spatial sound.

During this time, I created a new edit for 4-channel audio and had the chance to listen to the piece in different rooms at Funkhaus. Alongside that, I worked on a 25-minute composition for 25 channels, which will soon be available in the Spaes Lab archive.

I also continued exploring IKO, observing how it functions across different compositions and listening environments.

I had the opportunity to experience different approaches to working with spatial sound, including systems and environments such as Monom, Dolby Atmos, d&b.. Seeing these different perspectives broadened my understanding of how sound can be shaped by both technology and space.

Thank you so much Gerriet for your support, guidance, and collaboration throughout this process.

This research is supported by the Performing Arts Fund NL, Music Author Development Grant. by @gizemoz__
