Its 2 in the afternoon on a July day. The streetlights just came on in town due to the dark orange haze of wildfire smoke. All you can smell is smoke. We have had it bad before, but never like this. #CT #Canada #wildfires by @gkjohnson1397

Not sure what is in the RSV shot, but I took a hard nap and just before I woke up, I was in the scene in Xanadu where the muses come to life. It was vivid! I would like to thank ELO and Jeff Lynne for being the soundtrack to today's dream. Not sure what the hell I am talking about? I have you covered! 👇Get your shots, people!! #dream #rsv #shots #xanadu

Once upon a time, I don't remember who said it, but I remember it was in the academy somewhere.... I was told never shoot a 300 because if something happens, that leaves a little room for others to say, "ok, so maybe it wasn't intentional." It stuck with me. Every qualification since my best was throwing one out. We'll, I finally drummed it out of my head and scored my first 300. @prince.jamesjr it wasn't you...it wasn't Llew, but I know you both would he proud. I always put off #leosa #hr218 shoot due to anxiety. I am pretty damn proud of myself. Special shout out to my other half and @mantis_tech for my range prep, clearly spending a little time on my Mantis 3 showing my scores in the 90s showed I can do it if I put the skills in and the anxiety out! taken in Somers, Connecticut by @gkjohnson1397

Ok, @garmin, let's talk.... Look, I love you. You keep me accountable to myself. I found a glitch in the matrix. I registered zero steps after 45 minutes on a curved treadmill.. Thank God my 1 hour on a conventional treadmill actually registered. So....what should I do to get all of my steps to register on the curved treadmill?

Now, to everyone else....have you tried these things? OMG... it's been a long time since I have had to talk myself into finishing. Ok, you did 10 min, you can get to 15. OK, 15 down 5 more min, and that is practically half way there, It was way harder than it looked. I was dripping sweat from my chin and down my arms. I was trying to avoid all that sweat by being indoors. These treadmills are a challenge! I'm happy to finish what I started! by @gkjohnson1397

HAPPY NATIONAL WOMEN POLICE DAY, Sisters!! Now, my other half is truly upset that there is no national male cop day. Can any of my sisters explain it to him? He doesn't understand when I tell him white male cop day has been every day since the dawn of policing. Have at him, ladies. And stay safe out there!! by @gkjohnson1397

Just want to warn you all....if you haven't taken the latest covid booster, its an ass kicker. Felt kind of bad the first 24 hours, but then....the next 24hrs was non stop vomiting. Could not even hold down water, today just plain ole fatigue. Everyone I know has reacted to this one. Moderna and Pfizer. I had Pfizer. Please plan accordingly. #themoreyouknow #covid #getyourbooster #boosted #buttkicker by @gkjohnson1397

I took myself on a date last night. I took myself to see @cheaptrick at Foxwoods. This was my 10th time seeing them. How could I not when ALL tickets were $25. I started seeing them when they were doing college tours in the 80s and they would come to UConn spring weekend when it was fun and there were no fliped state police cruisers or riots. Now, let's talk ridiculous rules. No DANCING? I'm sorry but in the name of @kevinbacon I totally broke that rule. I wore my overly sparkly mask and danced the whole time. Oh and there was no social distancing at all. I had fun all by myself and I thank the country of Australia for canceling the boys so I could get one more chance to see "the best fucking rock band you have ever seen". #datenight #dateyourself #postpandemic #summertime #concert #foxwoods #happiness #live #music by @gkjohnson1397
