My review for the J^2 wedding:
Amazing people
Beautiful venue
Best wedding food ever
Plenty of things to wear as hats
10/10 would do it again

Dear Baseball,

Thank you. Thank you for giving a boy something to aspire to be. Thank you for moments of insurmountable joy and periods of overwhelming pain. Thank you for relationships and connections; not only with amazing fans, teammates, coaches, and mentors, but with my own self. I can look the 4 year old Garrett in the eye and be proud of all that we have accomplished together. You’ve given me more than I can ever repay, and the lessons and memories we’ve experienced together will help to shape the rest of my life.

To my family: your love and dedication to my pursuit of a dream is something for which I will be forever grateful. Whether it was the 6 am road trips for a double header, staying longer than the Sun for extra practice on countless occasions, or your counsel when faced with adversity; you enabled me to give all I could to this beautiful game.

I enter into the next chapter with the same excitement for life that the game gave me for so many years and cannot wait to see what lies in store.

Love always,
