Accomplishing the impossible 💚

MJR is constantly working to help push kendama forward. From supporting comps and players; to making sure everyone has a a place to sleep at events… seriously he bought out every air mattress within driving distance of Battle at the Border one year.

Since last year Gabe has been interviewing players around the world to find out their “WHY”

At NAKO, KWC, & BATB @gksweets has been talking with players and we are excited to start sharing these short interviews on @spreadkendamalove.

How do you teach a first spike?

One of the most important things you can do to help spread kendama love is teach someone how to land their first spike. It’s one thing to show someone a kendama trick, but it’s another to help them experience the joy of landing one themselves.

We’ve taught a LOT of kendama all around the world and developed our own techniques, but let us know your tips and tricks for teaching a First Spike 👇

We are so excited to go to the Kendama World Cup in just a few months!

KWC is the next major kendama competition coming up, and there is still time for you to get your tickets to join us in Japan! We know that getting to Japan isn’t an easy send but it is so so so worth it. We’ve seen a lot of affordable flights recently and right around now is a perfect time to check.

We are always excited about KWC but especially this year as GLOKEN tries a new season for their event. Japan gets HOT in the summer so we’re stoked to experience the World Cup in the Fall.

Just a bunch o’ kids at the playground…
I’m so Incredibly honored to get to shoot this lil trick with these absolutely LEGENDARY humans! If not for the enormous efforts, time, energy, and care put forth by these amazing guys @nakendamaopen would never happen! I’m am so eternally grateful for all they do to make sure our little community gets to have such an epic #kendama convention (or family reunion as I like to call it) and I will continue to support their efforts in all I do for and with Kendama. Thank you @paulsen_m @matt_sweets @gksweets and @codygriz for loving Kendama as much as y’all do and for making sure we all get to keep sharing that Kendama love! @sweetskendamas is family to me, and these guys are the brothers I get to choose, I wouldn’t have it any other way! 💜🤩
