@elanhairstudio has been shaping the Jersey Shore's idea of great hair since 2005, and their new site is finally live!

@kelliediana9 built Élan as a teaching studio, where every artist earns their Color and Design certification and hairdressers build real careers. Twenty one years and a Salon Today Top 200 nod later, that is still the whole point.

Before you do one more task yourself this week, run it through this test.

@heather.tantrumsalon uses a simple filter before she takes anything on: "I always like to say if you can do it on your phone or on your laptop, somebody else can." Her follow up cuts even deeper: "If you wouldn't pay someone $25 an hour to do this, quit doing it yourself."

It's not about being lazy. It's about noticing when you're paying yourself less than minimum wage just to avoid the discomfort of handing something off.
