Son, single motherhood is not for the weak, but by far, it has been the BEST hood. ❤️ Raising you has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

Watching you become the man you are today makes every sacrifice, prayer, tear, and sleepless night worth it. You are courageous enough to keep going, humble enough to keep learning, yet hungry enough to keep reaching for more. And what makes me most proud is that through every high and low, you continue to trust God through it all.

Never lose that combination—courage, humility, hunger, and faith. Doors may close, plans may change, and the road may get uncomfortable, but remember that God is ordering your steps. What He has for you cannot miss you.

Keep your head high, your heart humble, your faith strong, and your hunger alive. Your mother believes in you, but even greater than that, GOD has His hand on you. I love you beyond words, Son. This weekend, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. ❤️

To be able to travel to Houston with my daddy at 78 years old—still pushing, still pressing, still trusting God despite the challenges of his health—is a gift I will never take for granted. Every mile, every conversation, every moment together is a reminder that time is precious and God’s grace is sufficient.

To worship in person at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church was something special. Though we always say, “We’re Wheeler wherever we are,” there was something powerful about being in the room. The rest. The recharge. The rejuvenation. My spirit needed every bit of it. To reconnect with The Rollins Family who my dad married their son and daughter in love 24years ago and God does all things well🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 And my new sista friend and new auntie such a loving welcoming church 💪🏾🤏🏾🫶🏾

One thing that was poured into us this weekend was the reminder that God always finishes what He starts.

Joshua chapter 1 spoke directly to my heart:

✨ “No one will be able to stand against you…”
That’s God’s promise.

✨ “I will be with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

✨ “Be strong and courageous.”

✨ “Be very courageous.”

✨ “Do not be afraid.”

✨ “Do not be discouraged or dismayed”—don’t allow yourself to be crushed internally by what you’re facing.

Instead…

Be encouraged.

God is with you.

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

KEEP STANDING.

Because the same God who called you is the God who will strengthen you, sustain you, and fulfill every promise He made.

No matter what opposition comes, remember: God’s promises are greater than your problems.

He will make your way prosperous, and He will give you good success.

✨ Fly. Favored. Flourishing. Fulfilled. ✨

This is my reminder to myself:

I am FLY because I wear confidence, not comparison.

I am FAVORED because God’s hand is on my life, and what He has for me cannot be taken from me.

I am FLOURISHING because God never called me to simply survive—He called me to thrive.

I am FULFILLED because I am walking in His purpose, trusting His timing, and believing every promise He has spoken over my life.

I don’t have to force what God has already ordained. Every closed door is protection. Every delay is preparation. Every step is ordered by Him.

Today, I choose faith over fear, purpose over pressure, and peace over panic.

I am exactly who God says I am.

Fly. Favored. Flourishing. Fulfilled.

That’s the lifestyle. That’s the testimony. That’s the blessing. 💛🙏🏽

@sheispennae My beautiful cousin, Pennae, my heart is heavy, but I find peace knowing how much love, beauty, and light you poured into this world. You were more than a celebrity hairstylist — you were a creator, a healer, a listener, and a woman who made people feel beautiful inside and out. So many looked up to you, and I was blessed to be one of them. I learned from your talent, your strength, your confidence, and the way you carried yourself with grace.

Some of my best memories include laughter, conversations, lessons, and simply being in your presence. You gave so much of yourself to so many people. You showed up for others time and time again, and your impact will live on through every life you touched.

You have done enough, You fought enough. You loved enough. You gave enough. Now you can take your earned rest peacefully, knowing your work here mattered deeply. We will carry your legacy, your style, your warmth, and your love forever.

Iykyk My Strength comes from God !
