If light wakes you up, this detail matters.

For this installation, the track curves back into the wall so the drapery closes off one of the most common areas for light leakage.

That means less unwanted light, better room darkening, and a more comfortable environment for sleep, whether it’s a child’s bedroom or your own.

It’s a detail most people would never notice at first glance, but it can completely change the experience of the room.

Because true custom window treatments aren’t just about how they look. They’re about how well they work.

A dream years in the making.

After more than a decade of hard work, planning, and believing in what we’re building, we’re incredibly proud to officially announce our partnership with @safaviehhome.

This is truly a surreal moment for our team.

Safavieh has long been one of the most recognized and respected names in luxury home furnishings and interior design. Their reputation, craftsmanship, and influence within the design world make this partnership especially meaningful to us, and we’re incredibly honored to now be part of that experience.

Our new showroom in Glen Cove, Long Island now allows our custom window treatments and millwork to be displayed alongside one of the most iconic names in home design.

What makes this partnership so special is the experience it creates for homeowners, designers, and anyone looking to elevate their space. From luxury furnishings to custom window treatments and millwork, we’re bringing everything together under one roof to make the renovation and design process more seamless, inspiring, and convenient.

We’re beyond grateful for this opportunity, for everyone who has supported us along the way, and for what’s ahead.

This is only the beginning.

A different level of bathroom privacy. 👀

For this space, the goal wasn’t just to cover the window with something nice, it was to give the homeowners more control over privacy, light and how they use the room.

That’s why we installed dual motorized shades. With the pocket door open, they can still create the privacy they need without sacrificing the clean, open feel of the bathroom.

One window. Two layers. Fully motorized.

Because the best custom window treatments don’t just look good, they solve the way you actually live in the space.

Custom drapery that makes the entire room finally feel complete.

For this space, we used layered window treatments to soften the natural light, add texture, frame the windows, and create a more finished, tailored look throughout the room.

That’s the difference between simply covering a window and designing a treatment specifically for the space.

Custom drapery is about proportion, fabric, fullness, placement and how everything works together once you step back and see the entire room.

Every room needed something different, so we automated all of it.

From the moment you walk through the front door, these custom window treatments are designed to do more than look beautiful. Tall draperies add privacy and help soften the acoustics, while motorized shades throughout the great room give the homeowners precise control over natural light.

Then the look changes again in the family room, where sheer drapery and Belgian linen shades create a softer, more relaxed feel.

The common thread? Everything is automated and powered by @somfyus, with control from a phone, remote or scheduled timer.

That’s the advantage of whole-home window treatment automation: every room can have its own look and function, while the entire home works together seamlessly.

Save this for your next custom window treatment project.

Every custom window treatment project comes down to the details. Accurate measurements, careful installation, clean finishes, and making sure everything works exactly the way it should.

That’s why hearing that someone trusts Glamour Decorating enough to recommend us to someone else will always mean more than just a “great job.”

From custom shades and drapery to motorized window treatments, our goal is simple: do the kind of work people feel confident putting their name behind.

And that? That hits different.

What makes us happy? Window treatments that make the entire room feel finished.

From tailored custom drapery and soft sheers to beautifully fitted Roman shades, every treatment in this home was selected to complement the architecture, furniture and natural light.

Because the right window treatments do more than cover a window, they help define the entire space.

Custom drapery. Roman shades. Sheer window treatments. Thoughtful details from room to room.

Which look is your favorite?
