Want to experience the ultimate Parisian luxury without breaking the bank? 🇫🇷✨ You don’t need a bottomless wallet to enjoy the City of Light like an insider. Here are 5 smart ways to save money while keeping that high-end aesthetic: 1. Eat at a historic Bouillon instead of overpriced bistros. Want classic French cuisine (like beef bourguignon and escargots) in a grand, Belle Époque setting without paying fine-dining prices? Head to a traditional Bouillon (like Bouillon Julien or Chartier). Full 3-course dinners cost around €15–€20! 2. Choose a hop-on hop-off boat over packed river cruises. Skip the mega-cruise boats crowded with hundreds of tourists. Opt for a daily pass on a water bus (like Batobus). You get unlimited transport along the Seine, gorgeous views, and the freedom to hop off whenever you like. 3. Walk the Glasswalk at Galeries Lafayette Step inside the stunning Art Nouveau department store and walk across the free glass bridge suspended directly under the iconic dome. It’s 100% free and offers an unforgettable, high-end photo perspective! 4. Visit the FREE Galeries Lafayette rooftop. Head straight up to the top floor for panoramic, unobstructed views of Paris and the Eiffel Tower. It’s completely free and has a way better vibe than paying for expensive observation decks. ☕ 5. Skip the €30 hotel breakfast. Grab a warm croissant and espresso for under €5 at a local neighborhood boulangerie and enjoy it on a bench by the Seine or inside the Palais Royal gardens. 💡 Smart Luxury Tip: True Parisian style is effortless. Spending €5 on a pastry by the river or enjoying a historic Bouillon feels much more authentic than falling for overpriced tourist traps! 📌 Save this post for your next trip & share it with your travel partner! #parisonabudget #parisguide #parisvisit #weekendinparis #parislove by @glamtravelicious

Save this dream location for your next trip to Lake Como! 🌅🇮🇹👇 If you’re looking for the ultimate sunset view away from the crowded shorelines, you need to hike up to Castello di Vezio. Perched high on the hill right above Varenna, this ancient castle offers the most insane 360° panoramic views over the entire lake! Essential tips for visiting: • During the summer months, they host weekend aperitivos right on the terrace! Seats are extremely limited, so you must book far in advance to secure a spot for sunset drinks with this view. • It’s a 20–30 minute uphill walk from Varenna center (steep & cobblestone paths) so wear comfortable shoes! • Check the opening hours in advance as last entry is usually 1 hour before closing. You want to time it right at golden hour for the best light! • Look out for the white plaster ghost sculptures dotted around the castle grounds - they add such a unique, mystical vibe to the photos. 📍 Location: Castello di Vezio, Varenna (Lake Como) 📍 Save this post for your Lake Como itinerary & tag who you’d share this view with! ✨ #lakecomoitaly #varennalakecomo #varennaitaly by @glamtravelicious
Milan is way more than just high fashion and quick photo stops. If you want to experience the city properly without wasting time or money, here is your guide: 1. Duomo rooftops via stairs Skip the crowded main cathedral floor and go straight to the rooftop (Terrazze del Duomo). Pro tip: Book the sunset slot online in advance and take the stairs instead of the elevator - it’s cheaper, the line is shorter, and the views as the lights turn on are magic. 2. Skip the overcrowded Galleria cafes Instead of paying €10 for an espresso next to the main square, head 10 minutes away to the Brera District. It has the most charming cobblestone streets, authentic pasticcerias, and vibrant art-boutique energy. 3. Navigli for Aperitivo (the local way) Head to the Navigli canals around 6:30 PM. For the price of one cocktail (around €10-15), most spots include a full buffet or a generous board of local snacks (tagliere). 4. Visit a hidden gem: San Bernardino alle Ossa Skip the endless queue for the Last Supper if you didn’t book months ahead. Visit this fascinating medieval chapel decorated with human bones - it’s quiet, unique, and totally unexpected. 5. Quick transport tip Don’t bother buying paper metro tickets or waiting at machines. Just tap your contactless card/phone at the turnstiles - it automatically calculates the cheapest daily rate for you! 📍 Save this post for your Milan city break & share it with your travel partner! ✨ #milanocityofficial #visitmilan #milanitaly #milanguide by @glamtravelicious

If you’re planning a trip to Lake Como, picking the right base town is the single most important decision! 🏔️🇮🇹 Many people accidentally book in towns with poor transport connections. Here is why Varenna is the absolute best place to stay: 1. Direct train from Milan Varenna has its own train station (Varenna-Esino). You can hop on a direct train from Milan Central and arrive in just 1 hour. No stressful buses or expensive taxis needed. 2. The main ferry hub It sits right in the middle of the lake („Mid-Lake Triangle”). Main passenger ferries stop here constantly, making quick day trips to Bellagio, Menaggio and Tremezzo super easy (15–20 min). 3. Iconic sights & gardens You don’t even need to leave Varenna to see world-class views. Walk through the stunning botanical gardens of Villa Monastero and Villa Cipressi or hike up to Castello di Vezio for the ultimate panorama of the entire lake. 4. Incredible food It’s home to fantastic authentic spots like La Scarpetta for incredible homemade pasta where mopping up every last drop of sauce with fresh bread is practically mandatory! Pro Tip: Book your stay near Varenna-Esino station so you can drop your bags immediately after getting off the train! 📌 I share honest Italy travel guides, daily itineraries & practical logistics so you never waste time or money. 👉 Follow for your complete Italy travel roadmap! 🤍 #varennalakecomo #varenna #varennaitaly #lakecomoitaly by @glamtravelicious
If you’re visiting Italy soon, eating out is a whole ritual! Here are the essential dining customs you should know before sitting down at a trattoria: 1. The bread & „La Scarpetta” The bread on your table is usually served with coperto (a small cover charge for bread and service, typically €1-3). Use that bread to do “Fare la scarpetta” - mopping up every last bit of delicious sauce from your plate! 2. Wine with lunch is normal Having a glass of house wine (vino della casa) with lunch is completely normal and culturally accepted, even on a weekday. 3. Primi vs. Secondi In traditional restaurants, pasta and risotto are considered Primi (first courses), while meat and fish are Secondi (second courses). You don’t have to order both, but now you know the order! 4. After-meal coffee or digestivo After your meal, order an espresso. If you don’t want coffee, ask for a digestivo (like Limoncello or Amaro) to help with digestion. 5. The magic of Aperitivo Before dinner (around 6-8 PM), locals meet for Aperitivo - a drink (like Spritz) served with small snacks or a buffet to kick off the evening! ✨ Save this guide for your next trip to Italy! 👉 Follow for honest travel tips, real guides & smart travel hacks! 🤍 #italyfoodie #italianfoodguide #italyhacks #italyguide #italyisalwaysagoodidea by @glamtravelicious
