Ever wondered what it's like working inside Glasgow Ceramics Studio?

Renting our project space is a wonderful way to find out!

The project space at Glasgow Ceramics Studio is a short-term studio rental, located upstairs in the Open Access Studio.

It is the perfect space to experiment and figure out that idea that's been rattling around in your head.

Our project space rentals are fully equipped with 24 hour access to a hand-building table, throwing wheels, sink, communal facilities like our glaze and drying room, and also your own personal shelving.

Plus you get to create alongside our wonderful community of makers who are based at GCS fulltime ✨

We were so lucky to have the incredibly talented @jamiebatessculpts with us this summer, as our International Mid-Career Artist in Residence.
We took a few snaps of Jamie and some of their work, made during their time here. Jamie’s project was based on researching Scotland’s history of witch persecution and how witchcraft has been imagined, feared, and remembered over time. Thank you so much to Jamie for all her generosity in sharing her practice, through events such as the artist talk and of course, her karaoke skills!
.
Applications for the 2027 Residency will reopen on September 28th, so please look to our website for all the information and details then. taken in Glasgow Ceramics Studio by @glasgowceramics
