Well the dust has now settled and we’ve spent some time on the beach so we thought we’d look back at the “GRUNTY” tour we had over two weekends in December, what a fkn blast! 🚀

5 different sets and venues! Big ups to the wonderful places that hosted us; @swimsuitcoffee @ascot.nz @namirecordbar @darlingondrake @heineken_nz 🫂 and to all the beautiful people who showed up and supported in one way or another 💕 we’re beyond grateful

Huge thank you to the OG UK underground music plug, @bluedollarbillz for premiering “gilbert” from @benny.balance’s forthcoming “GRUNTY” EP. We’ve been using BDB for nearly a decade when it comes to hunting for the best underground tunes around, always a blessing to be featured.

This track is spaced out, minimal and subby. A subtle breakbeat keeps it moving, layered over a solid drumline, perfect for stomping your feet to.

Massive ups to Paris based duo and channel, @lesyeuxorange for premiering the remix track from @benny.balance’s forthcoming “GRUNTY” EP.

This is a club-ready remix of Benny’s track “oranges at half time” by fellow Aotearoa collaborators Patella & Calske (Patellske) who have transformed the original track into a driving, higher-energy, textural dance track that holds onto the grunt in a new light.
This marks their first of many releases together, and is GHF label head Calske’s debut release!
