Was waiting for my buddy Blaze to get him some tako for fishing tonight, who caught some nice oios last night on the tako. Decided to check a slob coral hole nearby, boated over and saw this Slob just staring at me few feet below in the center of a coral head. I threw anchor as Biggy was busting some rhymes on the tunes. Jumped in and grabbed this kraken, and the little one as a double from the magical coral head. Missing legs and all I was in denial it’s true size especially with the littler one. I got back to the boat had few more minutes stopped at the next spot down the reef and found another big slob. Speed back dock to meet Blaze on his way to fishing. Weighed up and found out I had gotten a 10.62lb and 5.5lb double tako along with a 7.25lber. What an amazing two drops! by @glassyted

Jaymie has been finding tako 10 days in a row since her first find. This was day 8 when she found this 8+ pounder that gave her little kisses all over her shoulder.

Found Another 10 Poundah!!!

Must of been the good luck of Ben’s knowing I was bout to pick him up to go fishing then remembered to get a photo! We got cracks and bycatch but finally found a little papio. 🤣🤙🏽

@danny_maalouf has been learning to find takos and today he finally landed his first one! While he was already wet, he decided to grab a second on the way back to the boat.

This is the life, the life we’ve been living.

Family day on da bay. Dropped Jaymie and Coral to walk the reef and few minutes later Jaymie found her first tako of the day. Using her new cupids arrow she tickled a nice one. Coral had to go to the boat to sit out the rain. We walked a bit then swam a bit and found some takos. Then grabbed Azure at then pier for lunch on the bay and an intense game of mermaid Barbie’s that not even the rain could stop. Meanwhile Jaymie swam around and kept finding some nice takos. Gotta say she broke in her new spear well! Mahalos Kai for making her Cupids Arrow for our 28th Anniversary!

While I was busy with an intense game of mermaid barbies on the boat with Coral, Jaymie was swimming around throwing takos into the cooler and grabbing shells. Next thing I knew I counted 8 takos she found. Pretty spectacular to be able find one let alone enough to feed the special 200 person party order for Squid Lau Lau.

Good thing I found the most amazing woman ever created and she decided to spend her life with me and have kids together.

Stoked to pick up the Gyotaku of the double tako I found a few months back, a 10.6lbs and 5.5lbs double in a coral. The picture is incredible and brings the tako to life. Get it framed and mounted soon. Oh yeah.
