Now that we’ve introduced the scullery at The Copper Hearth, let’s take a look at what we put inside it.

A speed oven takes the place of a traditional microwave while doubling as another oven, with dedicated cookie sheet storage built right above the oven stack. We also included a steam oven — an appliance Niall knows well because it’s one of his favorites in our own home.

From baking bread to making rice, it’s become one of those appliances he uses far more than he ever expected.

A little more of what’s happening in the kitchen beyond the kitchen.

If you've ever wondered what it's really like to build a custom home, you're not alone.

We are excited to launch Ask the Builder, a new series where Niall will answer your questions about the custom home building process - from where to start and how long it takes to the design decisions that shape each home.

Whether you're planning to build one day or you're simply curious about the process, we'd love to hear from you.

Leave your question in the comments below - it may be featured in an upcoming Ask the Builder episode.

Behind every Glavin Home is a builder who believes the experience should be just as meaningful as the finished home.

For Niall, building starts with listening—taking the time to understand the vision behind each home, paying attention to the details, and staying personally involved from the first conversation to the day the keys are handed over.

Alongside an incredible team of craftsmen and trade partners, he is committed to creating homes that are thoughtfully built, beautifully finished, and designed around the people who will call them home.

Whether you're planning to build soon or simply enjoy following the journey, we're glad you're here.

Welcome to Glavin Homes.

Anyone who knows Niall Glavin knows the genuine care and pride he puts into his craft. He approaches every home as a true custom creation, focusing on thoughtful architectural design, solid construction, and spaces designed around how families actually live.

Last night, that dedication showed up in a big way. Glavin Homes swept every single People’s Choice award at the 2026 BIA GRO Parade of Homes for The Copper Hearth.

Watching thousands of people walk through those doors and connect with the work was incredible. A huge congratulations to Renee Hicks of RH Design Collective for her vision on the interiors, and to every trade partner who brought their best to the stonework, the millwork, and the grounds.

We’ve worked alongside Niall for years, but seeing him take home a full public sweep across a field of eight standout builders was something special.

The home is officially sale pending, and we couldn't be happier for Niall and the entire Glavin Homes team.

Well deserved, Niall.

A little moment of calm.

From the beautiful soaking tub to the marbled textures and crystal hardware, each element adds something special to this primary bath. Together, they create a polished, inviting space with beautiful touches that make the everyday feel a little more special.

Beautifully designed, with just as much thought given to function.

In the scullery at The Copper Hearth, the green tile picks up the soft green veining in the countertop, while plaster walls and a mix of wood and painted cabinetry carry the design through from the main kitchen.

The result is a space that feels distinct, yet connected — designed to work hard behind the scenes without compromising on the details that make it special.

Classic doesn’t have to mean expected.

We love a timeless foundation, but that doesn’t mean every space has to look the same. The right tile, pattern, scale, and a few unexpected choices can give a classic bathroom its own character.

Sometimes, it’s those unexpected choices that make the whole space feel just right. And we think this one got the balance just right. 🤎

Good design isn’t always about what you see. Sometimes, it’s about what’s thoughtfully tucked away.

A little unexpected. A lot of function. 🤎

A quick check-in at The Highlands at Whipple Creek.

There’s a lot happening right now — a custom one-level home being framed and a two-story home at the drywall stage.

Come along for a look at what’s happening on site.

More than 9,000 people walked through The Copper Hearth during the Gro Parade of Homes — 9,095, to be exact.

Of all those visitors, we asked a few to describe the home in just one word. The responses were pretty special:

Warmth. 🤎
Welcoming.
Cozy.
Livable.
Intentional.
Refined.
And, of course… 12/10.

Together, these words capture what we hoped would come through from the very beginning — a home that feels beautiful, but also deeply comfortable. Refined, but still inviting. Designed to be enjoyed, gathered in, and truly lived in.

We’re so grateful to everyone who walked through The Copper Hearth, and especially to those who took a moment to share their experience with us.

The spaces that feel most personal are often the ones where you can see a little bit of the people who live there.

A favorite color. Wallpaper that makes you smile. Wainscoting that adds character. A stone wall with natural variation. A tile detail that makes a room feel unexpected.

It’s not about following a formula. It’s about choosing the elements that feel right for you — and bringing them together in a way that feels like home.
