WOMEN ARE INCREDIBLE HOLY MOLY.

GBIII is safely in our arms and turning all the heads at the hospital. 🥰

My hubs and baby daddy @glbaileyii is amazing. Our doula @camsdoulacare with @ashebirthingservices was incredible we couldn’t have done it without her. @uptownobgynofny is..the best. Thank you Georgette on lactation who’s already helping me so much..

Our support system - family and friends have lifted us up and given the advice and will continue to thank you!

We are soaking in our little-big guy and the new love he’s filled us up with! #GBIII by @glbaileyii

Gilbert @glbaileyii wouldn’t let me paint his nose cus he said it was “blackface”
Happy Halloween 🎃 ☺️🤣😩🙃

My sweetie cuddly baby bear 🧸 by @glbaileyii

This is a hard goodbye. I signed my first Broadway contract with Diane, but my favorite first was this one: She came to see me in The Scottsboro Boys at Philadelphia Theatre Company. I went to high school near Philly, so she asked me what I wanted to do. I told her ‘I want to take you to Jim’s to get a cheesesteak!” She said, “Sure, let’s do it! But I’m taking you!” it was my first out-of-town agent date. It was the best time. Throughout the years we would meet in other places, like when we rode the trolley in San Fran or ate In-N-Out in LA, and each time we had so much fun hanging out and talking about life. I loved getting the call that Diane was going to see me in something or catching each other on the phone to talk about an appointment she had for me. The call always lasted a minute or two longer than it needed to because we had to catch up. I will miss her voice. She had a great laugh. Thank you, Diane. You were a real one. Rest in peace. by @glbaileyii

It's the Broncos' season opener tonight! Little Man won't make it through the game because it's a little too late for his bedtime, but I hope to instill in him the same abiding love for the Broncos that my father instilled in me! So, I'm starting him early!!

Shoutout and thanks to Auntie @all_4_moe for the cute Broncos onesie! The Boy is stylin’! 😎
And shoutout to Mom for dressing him! @jessiehookerbailey by @glbaileyii

The Boy isn't even 9 weeks old and he booked his first commercial! GBIII and his beautiful mom are out here moving products! Thanks @juleslubeck and @stephmartignetti for a wonderful day! 💜🤎🧸 by @glbaileyii

Thank you to all our family who came to celebrate us for The Baby Bear Bailey baby shower in the woods!! Thank you for finding an incredible nook of the woods and turning it into a warm and rocking party! It was so great to hear surrounded by family and then get to babymoon with Jessie! We love you all so much and are excited for the little man to meet you all! He’ll be here any day now! 🤯

Shoutout to @angelberlane for these great pics!

Love to all who came! by @glbaileyii

Everybody should #babymoon 🧸🤎

@glbaileyii and I got to celebrate little bear on the way with our family, siblings, parents, family friends in the Poconos. (Pictures to come!!!)

We decided to take a couple more days afterwards in the vrbo just us and @thejadekamalabailey, and I think it was the best decision we’ve made since choosing each other 😂

No lie. Nature works wonders. So does a washer and dryer in the home (baby laundry round 1 ✅).

My swelling has gone down in my ankles and hands, and up in my heart for my family, my husband and dog, myself (thank you to my body), and this little boy continuing to kick and kick all day (and night) long.

Gilbert and I keep saying how lucky we feel, how beautiful and love filled our life is, how this moment in our lives couldn’t feel anymore clear even in the unknown- like we’re supposed to be in this right now, this way… we feel the love and support 10 fold.

Just wanted to capture the peace we got to feel even for a bit (before we never feel it again as our parent friends and family keep gently reminding us 😂😂😂😂) 🧸🤎💜💚 #herecomesourson☀️ #babybearbailey #itsallright by @glbaileyii

And just like that, another year ends at Marymount Manhattan College. I don’t know if you can tell, but I super love both of these groups and the work we did together this semester. My sophomores in MT TECH II brought me joy and filled Nugent 451 with energy, risk, and 6 or 7 (6,7) genuine belly laughs an hour every Friday. I will miss their raucousness, I will miss their smiles, I will miss their mistakes, and I will be inspired by the individual triumphs I witnessed in each of them throughout our time together for years to come. My juniors showed up cool, present, and engaged as we considered the science of scene study with diligence, determination, and light (spiritual and overhead fluorescent) in room 507, Carson Hall, on Monday mornings for SCENE INTO SONG II. I will miss their questions, I will miss their sense of play, I will miss encouraging them to “shake ladders”, and I will cherish the lessons I gleaned from their patience, teamwork, and camaraderie week after week. With each passing class, I find that, even as I am sure I have enriched my students’ artistic lives in some way, I have been at least doubly enriched by the experience of working with them, and so, it is under a sincere debt of gratitude that I say ‘Thank You’ to each of the souls that studied with me at MMC this semester. Whether you took one of my sections every week, or I subbed your class a few times, or you simply remembered me and stopped to say “hi” in the hall, you did more for me than I deserve. I love you all, and I hope everyone has a great summer and reads some plays!
