Gün içinde oturup kalkarken, elim yine geometrik desenlere gitti… Kalan bir suluboya kâğıdım vardı. Bu deseni ona geçirip, “Acaba renklendirsem nasıl görünür?” diye merak ettim. Denedim. Sonra fark ettim ki mürekkep bu kâğıtta biraz dağılıyormuş. Çizgiler yer yer istediğim kadar kusursuz olmadı. Ama sonra baktım… “Kusurları var ama desen de ne güzel…” dedim. Belki de bazen çalışmayı olduğu hâliyle bırakmak gerekiyor. Her çizginin kusursuz olması değil, ortaya çıkanın sende bıraktığı his güzel. Böylece gün içinde oturup kalkarak, biraz merakla, biraz denemeyle yaptığım bu çalışma da yerini aldı. Kusurlarıyla, hikâyesiyle… 🤍 Throughout the day, as I sat and stood, my hand again reached for geometric patterns… I had some watercolor paper left. I transferred this pattern onto it and wondered, “What would it look like if I colored it?” I tried. Then I realized that the ink smudged a bit on this paper. The lines weren't as perfect as I wanted in places. But then I looked… “It has imperfections, but the pattern is beautiful…” I said. Maybe sometimes it's necessary to leave a work as it is. It's not about every line being perfect, but about the feeling the final product leaves you with. And so, this work, which I created throughout the day, with a little curiosity and a little experimentation, took its place. With its imperfections, with its story… 🤍 . . . . . . . . Bu çalışmamdaki süreç bana bir yolculuğu çağrıştırıyor. Önce boş bir sayfa… Sonra sabırla yerleştirilen çizgiler, renkler, fırça dokunuşları... Bazen geri dönüp yeniden başlamak, bazen sadece devam etmek. Ve en sonunda, birbirini tamamlayan bir bütün. Hayat da biraz böyle değil mi? The process in this work reminds me of a journey. First, a blank page… Then, patiently placed lines, colors, brushstrokes… Sometimes going back and starting again, sometimes just continuing. And in the end, a whole that complements each other.
