An incredible new conducting experience. This time, I had the privilege of spending three amazing days rehearsing and performing with the Baroque Orchestra of HFK Bremen students.

We performed C. H. Graun’s Concerto for Viola da Gamba in G major—a truly wonderful piece.

A huge thank you to @thedivisionviol (Alexandre Maglevanaia - Gamba) for this incredible opportunity.

Every time I step onto the podium, I feel myself getting closer to my goals.

📷 Special thanks to Vladyslav Snadchuk for the photos

This was the first time I was invited to take on the role of conductor (hopefully not the last 😅). „Der Schwanendreher“ is a piece by P. Hindemith.

The emotions are impossible to put into words, and the experience is truly priceless.

Working with an ensemble for the first time was incredibly challenging, especially while presenting a piece with a soloist. But we did it, and it was an amazing experience.

Thank you @jamiroquai86 for giving me this opportunity❤️

A bit about what I did: I realized I didn’t have a recording of myself conducting, so I brought together musicians, chose the repertoire, and in a short time we recorded three wonderful pieces

Gustav Mahler was not truly recognized during his lifetime: his music was seen as too complex and strange. His symphonies were very long and full of contrasts — from simple, almost childlike moments to deep tragedy. He mixed sounds and ideas that people were not used to hearing together.

He knew this, but he kept writing and once said, “My time will come.”

And it did — years later, when people were finally ready to understand his music.

Today, his symphonies are performed in the world’s greatest concert halls, and many conductors see them as a true test of mastery.

Sometimes it’s not that you’re doing something wrong. Sometimes you’re just ahead of your time.
