- Oceania under 23 Triathlon Champ. Luke @TheSchofieldTwins Congratulations on your win in Davenport Tasmania this weekend.
What a journey... As your primary sponsor, I thought a little history might help put this into context...as this is your best result to date.... Starting Triathlon @8 with your womb-mate Jayden in the Weet-Bix triathlon, you took the long build path. This may well be a fruitful read to other triathletes wondering what might be possible, when you don't pick your parents as well as you should... In your first school state race (u14), I think you placed 44th. That race was won by the legendary @CalebAgostinoMorrow. The following year saw @_KurtMcDonald rise to the top step. By 16 you snagged the last spot in the state team, running into 6th place. At 19 you won the National Junior points series without a single win (but always on the podium). In 2018 you placed 3rd at junior nationals in Perth behind @officialLukeBate as well as your brother, then shared the podium with your brother again at the Junior Oceania champs in New Plymouth behind @LorcanRedmond. Last year you took a podium spot at the USA College Tri Sprint Champs in Arizona behind your life long training partner & twin bro Jayden.

Saturday, you took out the top spot in a sprint finish with legendary Lorcan who always keeps it honest. Hats off to him as the younger athelete still on the rise, however Devonport was your day. First place in front of family including 'po po' (Grandma) and ms california @literallysofiaschugar.
Special thanks to Dani @PulsePerformanceTeam who always seems to have the magic to get you into your best form. Also to your brother who took a time penalty to help give you a descent chance, as well as @Matt_Hauser who did not contest this one, keeping the race wide open. ;) Also, from across the ditch congrats to Liam Ward @LiamWard10 for taking out the 3rd spot on the podium.

What a journey...bring it on... #pulseperformanceteam #cadencarbonwheels
