🔔 We were proud to ring the bell at the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) today as Glencore began trading on the Australian market.

Our listing on the ASX deepens our 30-year commitment to Australia as one of the country’s largest and most diverse resources companies, with more than 16,500 employees and contractors across 16 active mining operations and seven metals processing facilities.

Glencore CEO Gary Nagle said: “Glencore has been investing in Australia for decades and we know the Australian investment community has a sophisticated understanding of global resources and commodity markets.”

At our Glencore Australia Newlands Coal mine, our closure work involves working to restore the land and return it to use as a productive grazing habitat.

When representatives from Queensland’s Department of Environment visited the site, they were asked if they could identify where a former mine pit had been. They couldn’t. This is Newlands coming full circle.

Glencore has received approval for its MARA project under Argentina’s Incentive Regime for Large Investments (RIGI).

What does this mean? RIGI approval provides the fiscal and regulatory certainty needed for further investment in the project, which has the potential to produce more than 200,000 tonnes of copper concentrate on average each year during its first 10 years of operation.

📣 We're pleased to announce that we’ve signed a binding term sheet for a strategic partnership with critical minerals refining company Nth Cycle centred on Nth Cycle’s planned battery materials refining facility.

As part of the commercial arrangements, Glencore will supply 100% of the black mass material to the planned facility, sourced from our commercial network and already operational US shredding assets. Glencore will also offtake high purity mixed hydroxide product and battery grade lithium carbonate from Nth Cycle. Both parties are targeting definitive supply and offtake agreements by the end of 2026.

📣 We are pleased to announce our selection by the U.S. Government to be a founding partner in the launch of VaultCo, a strategic #criticalminerals reserve designed to strengthen U.S. critical minerals supply chains.

Backed by financing by the Export-Import Bank of the United States, Glencore will source, procure and deliver critical minerals to help build VaultCo's strategic inventories, supporting American industry's access to the materials it needs.

📣 Glencore has signed a long-term offtake agreement with Nimba Mining Company (NMC), covering the pre-financing and marketing of its bauxite production.

The agreement provides for the marketing of 10 to 12 million tonnes of bauxite annually over a five-year period, giving Glencore long-term access to high-quality Guinean bauxite while further strengthening our position across the aluminium value chain.

Over the life of the agreement, Glencore will market up to 60 million tonnes of bauxite from NMC's operations, leveraging our global marketing network and long-standing customer relationships across key aluminium-producing markets.

At our @antapaccay operations in Peru, we've renewed our heavy-lift crane fleet with three new Tadano cranes (80, 160 and 250 tonnes). The largest unit alone offers up to 15% more lifting capacity than its predecessor.

Beyond capacity, the new fleet brings real-time load monitoring and 360° camera systems, helping to reduce blind spots during complex lifts.

"These new cranes will help our teams carry out critical tasks with greater confidence and efficiency, while contributing to our ongoing focus on safety." – Giancarlo Arca, Mine Maintenance Manager

To support the commissioning of the new fleet, Antapaccay also implemented a mandatory theoretical and practical training programme for crane operators and maintenance personnel, delivered by Tadano-certified instructors. by @glencoreplc

Nearly 2,600 metres below ground, Glencore Canada’s Onaping Depth team just connected surface to orebody for the first time – a major milestone on the journey to production.

Joined by Ontario Premier Doug Ford, alongside other political, Indigenous, industry and community leaders, we recently celebrated two important project milestones:

🏗️ Completion of the Onaping Depth mine shaft
🪨 First access to the orebody itself

These achievements reflect the dedication, expertise and teamwork of those helping bring Onaping Depth to life.

Part of Glencore's Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations in Northern Ontario, Canada, Onaping Depth is expected to provide a significant new source of responsibly produced nickel and copper while showcasing the next generation of mining through advanced digital technologies and a battery-electric underground fleet.

FyS Metales provides metal structures and maintenance services to mining operations in Espinar, Peru, including Glencore's @antapaccay. What began as an opportunity to work with Antapaccay has helped the company expand its footprint, create jobs and build a team of civil, mechanical and electrical engineers.

"I always wanted to create jobs," says Wrangler Valdez Wilka, Manager of FyS Metales. "There are plenty of opportunities in the mining industry."
