Feeling grateful for our community, who has shown this little shop such amazing support during our first week. It’s a scary thing to open your own business. But this past week has shown us that having a dream and going for it, with all that you have, is indeed worth it. Thank you, Glen Ellyn, we’re just getting started! 🍭🍦🍭 #glenellyncandy #glenellyncandyandcones #candyshop #icecreamshop #glenellyn taken in Glen Ellyn, Illinois by @glenellyncandy

From the moment we learned the owners were ready to pass the torch, we felt called to carry this beloved shop into its next chapter. Glen Ellyn Candy & Cones is more than a business, it’s a place woven into the memories of families who have visited for generations. We want to preserve that sense of community and tradition while bringing fresh energy, thoughtful updates, and new offerings to make it even more special.

We believe in creating joyful, inclusive spaces where everyone feels welcome. Adding allergy-friendly and dye-free options, curated gifts for every celebration, and our soft-serve cones allows us to serve even more families in ways that feel meaningful.

Owning this shop is our chance to give back to the town we love, continue a legacy, and build a place where sweet moments, big and small, can be shared daily. We’re honored to celebrate this next chapter with you.

With gratitude,
The Remillard Family

We loved providing ice cream for Forest Glen’s 3rd grade Brownie Troop at their outing to the GE fire station! It turns out fire safety + sprinkles go well together.🍦🫶🏻👨‍🚒 @gevfc1907 taken in Glen Ellyn Volunteer Fire Company by @glenellyncandy
