Right! Time to get back into it. Which one should I finish 1st? The Porsche, the Charger or the Torana? Like, share, comment.

2023 Motor Ex Melbourne has been run and won. There were way too many cars for me to show here and it would take me way to long to post everything worth posting. So I'm going Spartan on what I'm sharing.

It was great getting to catch up with or meet for the first time people I have watched, followed and enjoyed their social media. Whether it would be on here, YouTube or anywhere else. Another quality event. #xyynot_drifting_ #xyynot_drifting #tuffmounts #bennyscustomworks #mechanicalstigmcm #tuffmounts #carbuilders #motorex2023 #becauseshowcar #polishandshine #fortheloveofcars #glensgraphix by @glensgraphix

I got back from South Australia last night and had a fantastic run with fuel economy in both directions. The race meeting at Mallala great. Seeing old race cars and old friends. Laps of the track in my mates GTO tribute car and meeting people I have never met face to face before. Bring on next year. #oldracecars #historicracing #historicsportssedans #Sportssedans #australiansportssedans #becauseracecar #racecarsrule #raceandlive #mallalamotorsportpark #mallala #pontiacgto #gto #fortheloveofcars #glensgraphix by @glensgraphix

Slow going on this one right now. I don't want to rush it and regret doing something that spoils it and I end up being pissed off with the end result. But I also have a deadline. So I'll push on. Been off the pencils recently due to a hand injury. Of course it was the index finger and thumb that I hurt. Which meant I couldn't hold a pencil. Anyway, it's better now so I got to do more on the Charger. Now I have settled into a new home it's time to pick up the pencils again. I couldn't get comfortable at the last house. I am now. Australias unique Valiant Charger E38/49 built in the 70's as a homologation model to compete in the Australian Touring Car Championship and of course Bathurst.

Triple Webers, straight 6 with 3 and later 4 speed gearbox. It was a faster accelerating car than the legendary Phase 3 Falcon GTHO but they were never as successful as the Ford.

This is the top dog E49 that I am drawing. I haven't seen this car yet but I'm told it is gorgeous.

I've always admired hand painted sign writing. After discovering that #signvisionmelbourne did a two day workshop I had to have a go! This is the result of the 2nd day. We all did a sign that was significant to ourselves. I honestly didn't put any thought into what I wanted to do because I was interested in getting technique right. This was my effort. Looking at them all together they look brilliant. We were all disappointed it was only 2 days. Thanks Larry! We all enjoyed the experience. #signwriting #handlettering #paintandpaintbrush #alwayshandpaint #pencilandpaper #gudgiegirl #blossomclub #fortheloveofsignwriting #glensgraphix by @glensgraphix

Got a few on the drawing board right now but I'll show you this one because it has progressed since I last showed you. The Canon 956 is another step closer to finishing. I'd say I'm about halfway on this one. I am also working on an LJ Torana and a Elfin MR8. There are many more to come as I finish them one at a time. As this year comes to a close I am sharing the last drawings I did this year. Both were presents and both are now in their homes. The G Series 911 I posted recently and the VP Commodore. One was a birthday gift and the other a Xmas gift. Both done on A4 cartridge paper mainly using Prismacolor pencils with a little bit of Derwents. I've been sitting on this because it's a birthday present. Well the person has now received it so I can show you. The classic Porsche 911 Carrerra in Guards Red. An Australian delivered car in amazing original condition. A4 cartridge paper using mainly Prismacolor pencils with some Derwents.
