Two babies, countless flights, road trips, walks, playdates + everyday errands later… our Doona has easily been one of our most-used baby products. 🥹✈️

From family travel with a baby to everyday mom life, I love anything that makes getting out of the house with little ones easier. And the fact that we got to use the same Doona car seat + stroller with BOTH of our babies? Definitely worth it. 🙌🏾

Now my first Doona baby is pushing his little brother in it and I cannot 😭🤎

Planning a trip to Cartagena, Colombia? Steal my 3-day itinerary! 🇨🇴✈️

Cartagena gave us a little bit of everything — colorful streets, nightlife, Caribbean island hopping, good food, and a cultural day trip worth adding to your plans.

Here’s how we spent our 3 days:

📍 DAY 1: Explore the Old City, drinks at Época, a party bus experience, and bar hopping in Getsemaní.

🚤 DAY 2: Rosario Islands + Cholón boat party, beach club, open bar, and a private chef dinner back at our Airbnb.

🥂 DAY 3: Rooftop brunch at Townhouse followed by a day trip to San Basilio de Palenque, a historic Afro-Colombian community.

🏡 WHERE WE STAYED: A gorgeous Airbnb in Bocagrande with rooftop pool views!

I also included a few Cartagena travel tips I think are worth knowing before you go — especially when it comes to choosing where to stay, beaches, and getting around.

Looking for a romantic hotel in Chiang Mai, Thailand? 🇹🇭

We stayed in the Bodhi Pool Suite at The Inside House, where our private pool was literally steps from the bed. The suite also included afternoon tea, beautiful indoor-outdoor details and the sweetest honeymoon touches.

And despite how private it feels, the hotel is located inside Chiang Mai’s Old City—within walking distance of the Sunday Walking Street and major temples.

What happened to Tulum — and is Tulum still worth visiting in 2026? 🇲🇽

Tulum used to feel like the place for a quick Mexico getaway, and after visiting twice, I completely understand why people loved it.

We had an amazing time both trips — and my husband would go back tomorrow 😂 — but there were definitely things we noticed, especially the taxi situation, that made getting around more complicated than it needed to be.

And now, with the social scene changing and tourism slowing down, it feels like some of what made Tulum Tulum has shifted.

That said, I would still go back. I’d just plan a Tulum trip differently now: stay somewhere walkable and rent a car or scooter instead of relying on taxis.

Also…considering I was pregnant BOTH times I went, I still feel like I owe Tulum one proper trip 😂

Do you think Tulum is actually falling off, or are people just over the hype?

Planning a trip to El Salvador? 🇸🇻 Save this before you choose where to stay.

One thing I underestimated: El Salvador may look small on a map, but San Salvador, Surf City / El Tunco, Tamanique and Ruta de las Flores can still mean a lot of time in the car.

A few things I’d keep in mind when planning your El Salvador itinerary:

• group your days by area
• figure out transportation early
• choose your lodging around the itinerary — not the other way around
• give yourself more drive time than you think you’ll need

We used a private driver for our trip and I would 100% do that again. Huge shoutout to @enemias.gonzalez.81 for making those longer sightseeing days so much easier 🙌🏾

Sometimes the best itinerary is barely an itinerary at all. 🤍

Bequia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines 🇻🇨 was so peaceful and laid-back that I felt zero guilt about doing absolutely nothing😂🌴

The kind of vacation where your biggest decision is beach, pool, or spa😂

I’d especially recommend Bequia for a baecation, honeymoon, or babymoon when you want less running around and more time to actually slow down and enjoy each other🤍

I’m sooo late but apparently Apple Maps can scan the buildings around you and place walking directions over the actual street 🤯

This was SO helpful in Venice, where one wrong turn can send you across the wrong bridge—or directly into a canal 😂

Definitely worth checking on your next city trip.

Turns out a long layover doesn’t have to mean sitting in the airport for 19 hours 😂✈️

We had long Dubai connections on both sides of our Thailand trip and somehow squeezed in the Burj Khalifa, Dinner in the Sky, rooftop drinks, ATVs, camels, a desert dinner + show…without ever actually booking a Dubai vacation.

Bonus: because our connections qualified, Emirates covered our hotel + meals.

Definitely looking at long layovers differently from now on 👀 Would you leave the airport or play it safe?

Rome pasta-making class with an Italian nonna 🍝🇮🇹

We booked this experience through Airbnb Experiences and learned to make fettuccine + ravioli completely from scratch.

The crazy part is that almost talked me out of booking it… and it ended up being his favorite thing we did in Rome 😂

And obviously getting to sit down with wine and eat everything we made was the best part🤤

10/10, add this to your Rome itinerary!
