🇬🇧 Here are the post mortem radios of Reniflard, taken by the Dr Charlotte PEDRONO (@charazzia ). From what I understood, we can't observe any organ bec because of the amount of fluid in his body (effusions), except maybe some gas eventually related to his aerophagy. I will most likely post some photos/video of his autopsy within a few days.

I'm sorry to announce that Morpheus, my forest dormouse (Dryomys nitedula), unfortunately passed away.
She was over 5 years old and managed to survive several severe heatwaves.
I'm honored that we spent so much time together, and that I had the chance to share the life of such an incredible little critter. I hope she had a great life here ❤ I will never forget her (nor her partner Asmodeus)
This isn't my last post about her, since I have other videos to share. And to be honest, this reel is mostly for me- so I can watch it whenever I miss her a bit too much.
Again, I'll never forget my forest dormice and their shenanigans; from when my partner thought they were actual coconuts because they were so fat, to when they bit us because they thought our fingers were worms, when they went absolutely crazy for locusts, when they tried opening their intelligence game from upside down (???) or when they ran away in our flat just because they wanted to explore it.
It hurts to see a little one leave, but the memories are so worth it. I love them all so much. I'm so thankful for everything we shared.
Rodents are a blessing, and I'm glad I got to take care of these ones ❤

C'était aussi mes premières vacances torse nu depuis ma deuxième mammectomie 💐 by @gliridarium

Morpheus is here to remind you to keep your critters hydrated !

Don't give chocolate cookie to your rodents, unless their name is Morpheus

(For real though, small amounts of chocolate are alright for omnivorous rodents ! DON'T give any to wild animals nor cats nor dogs mor birds or whatever !)

On March 31st, Vermin followed me to class for a presentation about invasive species. He was stressed at first, but ended up having a good time !
My classmates were happy to meet him !

Arsenic the rescue, who is unreleasable, was adopted by @pepito_le_lerot this weekend !
We think he'll feel a lot better in a bigger cage, with no cats nor rats around !
