a year ago I invited a stranger from new york to come spend the weekend with me in philly. some might say that’s a pretty stupid thing to do, but i say it’s the smartest thing i’ve ever done :p

my time in philly has sadly come to an end.

when i first moved here i had NO JOB and 5k in my savings. it was truly an impulsive decision that had no actual logic behind it, I just knew i wanted to be in a big city and live with maxine lol. at first there were times i felt lonely/defeated and just wanted to go back home, now 3 years later i find myself crying over leaving. i have met & become friends with some of the most amazing people, experienced a super bowl win and have eaten at the yummiest places. i’ve had very fun but very long nights out (hate to love you gardendale) , the scariest hangover sundays and have co hosted the best house parties ever. i could go on and on about how much i adore philly and all the lovely people & memories it has given me, but i know this caption is already long as hell and only 2 ppl have probs made it this far. moral of the story is I will always love and cherish the time I called this place home. love yall <3 oh and go birds DUH 🦅

ps see u soon nyc ✨ by @glizzymcguire__

one of my very first pictures with pp pie & one of our last together. the first time we met, he stuck his head in my armpit and would not get out of there !! i remember being like hello what is going on , but looking back now that was just peter being peter. he always wanted to be as close as possible , whether that meant he was trying to get on your lap while you were sitting on the toilet, smushing his little face up against yours or sticking his face in your hair and trying to eat it . we genuinely could not have asked for a better cat and i feel so lucky to have loved him and been loved by him. i will miss you tremendously pp ❤️ by @glizzymcguire__
