Skating has been apart of my life now for 28 years. I started in 1993 and would leave the house and skate around the neighborhoods until sunset. In 1997 I started taking the train downtown with my brother @anthonyeee It was then we started grinding and skating ramps. Skating is the vehicle that got me where I am today. I had always wanted to be a music video director. But had no idea how to get there. But I did know my friends were getting good at skating and somebody needed to film them. In HS I wired two VCRs and a Sony discman together and made my first edit. I remembered I used a @three6mafia song. That’s when I got hooked. Skating has taken me around the world, gotten me jobs and allowed me to be creative the way I want to be. This was the only time I had the camera pointed at me. I was usually doing the pointing. Crazy this edit was made in 2014. I need to make a new one. @johnnytwotimez on the camera work. @usdskatesMusic by @youthfulbobby @thegtw @1501hades @alexdfisher1 by @gljoe_07

Came a long way from when we made this video. What a great time to be living in the city. The year was 2007. Rent was cheap. Everyone partied everyday in all the abandon buildings that are now million dollar condos. Youtube was a fresh new thing. The record industry bottomed out. But we all kept moving on figuring it out. @oldinglish and @sirmike just did a half time show for the @chicagobulls They took that money and we made this video. I still meet people till this day, that say this song and video changed their life. Thank you Universe and thank you @thecoolxkids #chicago by @gljoe_07

When I first met Anna in 2012, I instantly knew she was the one I wanted to build a family with.Life pulled us apart for a while, but six years later we both found our way back to Chicago. Exactly six years ago today, we chose to blend our families into one beautiful whole.Since then, our clan has grown with the addition of two baby girls: Willow (2) and Celina (3). We bought our home on the west side, and we started working together and building a family business. Happy anniversary to our family coming together and the love of my life, Anna. by @gljoe_07
