2022, one extraordinary year.

The most beautiful day of my life by far; a fortnight after one of the toughest. Stood in Marylebone town hall marrying Nelli, I couldn’t have been happier.

Proud to have been surrounded by the most remarkable women. Mum & Ruby doing so well, making our day as special and joyful as possible. My other sis Amber stepping in, we love you all.

Big thanks to my main man Luke, sartorial guide, brow mopper, but chiefly best friend. Quipping and quoting with me for nigh on 15 years.

Jali, Marianna and Ella, the coolest in-laws either side of the equator. Thank you for making me feel part of your wonderful family.

Here’s to 2023 and the day after, and the day after, with you always the love of my life @nelli_w ❤️

Peter Travis (10/07/1954 - 07/06/2022)

A wee bit about dad.

He may have regretted never signing a record deal or becoming an astronaut; but I’m immensely proud to have called him my dad. His kindness, patience and love for Ruby and I gave us such a wonderful start in life. Teaching me my first chords or applauding whatever amateur production Ruby and I were prancing around in. Taking him to Smugglers Music festival in his 60’s could have been a madness, but he rose to the challenge and came back with us again. It was an extraordinary experience for us both. Dancing with him late into the night was a true happiness. He was my mate as well as my father. The fortitude with which he faced his cancer and his ability to find humour during his decline, revealed his extraordinary inner strength. Though he didn’t get to see Nelli and I get married, his joy at our engagement stayed with us on the day. Mum, Ruby, and I will miss him tremendously but are so happy we had the time we did.
