As the convener of the event, @global_desir3 believes that meaningful conversations can change the way people see themselves, their choices, and the lives they are building.

This event was created to bring women into one room to have honest conversations about becoming, ambition, relationships, money, career, identity, growth, and the realities of figuring life out.

For her, it was never simply about hosting an event.

It was about creating a room where women could listen, question, learn, connect, and leave with something that stayed with them long after the event ended.

Because becoming is not something anyone finishes.

It is something we continue to do, season after season.

And sometimes, all it takes is one honest conversation to see your life differently.

What does it mean to build a beautiful life?

For us, it is more than looking good.

It is becoming a woman with direction, substance, ambition, purpose, relationships, money, joy and a life she actually chooses.

And we are building a space for African women to connect, learn, build, experience and become together.

I believe it is okay to recognize that people operate on high level and they necessarily don’t have to be age 40.
