We gave an initial glimpse of our unreleased #GDUNEUTRON KIT @CineGear2023, worn around our neck with a digicam strap, thanks to @thehundreds and the collection of @tat_j. Truly a universal and camera-agnostic accessory system, designed for massively modular functionality paired with game-changing ergonomics and symmetries. #GDU Neutron parts are symmetrical and reversible. They slide, pivot, and rotate around any camera body, big or small, to create an undeniably custom rig for the individual and their unique circumstances. Whether it’s rigged for a major motion picture shot on #REDV-Raptors, downsized for a wildlife photographer crouched behind a #Canon50-1000, or stripped down for a skater trailing a friend’s 1st attempt to land a new trick at #theBerrics, the experience is strengthened and supported by 100% backward compatibility with all #GDUQUANTUM gear. Products are live the moment the email blast goes out. Many new/old products will be “end-of-lifed”. We will let you know which ones they are As we re-define and evolve our product ethos. There will be constant and unyielding changes. We promise they will always be better then the previous generations, and we will never leave customers behind with products that can’t be use with future generations of product systems. Many of you saw some of these changes this weekend at #CineGear2023. There are products in this next release that will be single runs. Evolve or stagnate. No more looking back. ALL cameras are welcome and accommodated. No more walled gardens. Mo more cages. We are freeing the camera to function as the camera company's designers intended. We will amplify and expand the experience to cater to each individual's idiosyncratic needs.

The #GDU NEUTRON system is a compact, universal and modular system that is backward compatible with the GDU QUANTUM system and other GDU products. It is a time for us all to focus on making our systems work together so we can all make the most exceptional art possible with the best tools for the job. We are stronger and more effective together.

The one thing you can count on is that GDU will always be in a state of design flux and constant change. They may change from one release to to the next. This is because we are committed to taking responsibility for our product mistakes as well as our victories. We take action to correct mistakes based on direct feedback, so that you, the filmmaker and photographer, will have the most effective and fine tuned product choices for you as an individual, not as part off a demographic.

In building, designing and using universal systems can be confusing. We understand this well. The process of going from confused to enlightened is difficult but rewarding. We will be launching a new video series of product demonstrations that walk your though each product and how they can be utilized in multiple use case scenarios. You will hearing directly from us the designers of the products and why we the decisions we did. All of these elements should give you greater insight into our products and how they may, or may not, fit into your cinematic and photographic workflows.
