As I was baking yesterday I reminded myself how much creating wth my hands in any capacity makes me feel so connected to the earth a higher being and my ancestors! Here are some books on my TBR and one I have read I recommend. What is something in your life that may make you feel that way? #books #booksbooksbooks #reading #writer by @glolovesreading

This year’s theme has just been slow living, whimsy and childlike curiousity! Very grateful for the peaceful life I built myself. This is for my 5 year old self. Reminder to hug your inner child! #books #bookstagram #reading #writer by @glolovesreading

September is National Suicide Prevention month! Here are two books that are on my list to read this month. It’s been 8 years since my initial suicide attempt and was baker acted which started my healing journey!
Im diagnosed with panic disorder, depression, anxiety, and BED and take Lexapro and Bupropion. I have a great support system, and also am in therapy- are some of my healthy coping skills. We still have such long way to go as many diagnoses like bipolar and schizophrenia are stigmatized. The more we’re open about it the more society will change for the better! Among legislation, volunteering, voting, and community action- is just being there for eachother! #nationalsuicidepreventionmonth #books #mentalhealth #bookstagram by @glolovesreading

The last two books John Green has released have been one of my favorites! He is amazing at intertwining human connection, learning about medicine and anthropology and also incorporating his own personal life experiences into it. It’s a genre of its own! Everyone should read this book to learn the impact TB still has today. #book #medicine #writer #bookstagram by @glolovesreading

Sometimes all you need is a coffee and bookstore date with your best friend! Went to a new bookstore called @bestusedbooks located in longwood that had a mix of books, vinyls, trinkets, cds and other items! You can also bring your own items to receive money back. #bookstores #orlandobookstore #books #orlando taken in Best Used Books by @glolovesreading
