Here's a different sort of post. My website in 2007 and 2009. 🪦- 2007 I was still making everything myself, altering vintage and making one offs in a spare room. I wish I had clearer photos of the items, maybe they're on an external hard drive somewhere. Adding weird appliques and corset lacing to everything. 2007 was the "dead birds" navigation page (they bled when you clicked on them). 🪦-I wrapped every order in clean butcher's paper and stamped it with a bloody version of our logo (til vegans bitched enough I stopped, some of y'all are unethically killing the vibe lol. ) 🪦- I've blotted out some faces as some folks in the photos I'm not in touch with anymore (I don't hate you) or I flat out have forgotten your name in the many years since so it feels weird posting you (I don't hate you I'm just dumb). Xo 🪦- the damask background is a piece of vintage fabric I still own. The way I built the site was the way I made zines then, just piling chunks and textures together. 🪦- in 2008/2009 I stopped making everything myself and began assembling our sewing team and we had multiple sizes for items finally. Also for some reason my fish drawings became the landing page (no idea)....? Man I miss the old internet. We have let corporations and bullshit trends destroy a magical place. 💔 by @gloomth
