No matter how yesterday could’ve ended, it was monumental for me. 2 years ago I had my first IJS competition after not competing solo for years. In that competition I had planned on doing an axel to start, however the days before I let my mind take hold to the point I couldn’t even try to rotate the jump. Last season I didn’t compete and focused more on my tests and regaining that jump. Yesterday I was able to compete and land both of my axels. Although I’ve had better run throughs I ended with straight 1s across the panel (this was not an IJS comp). I was so proud of keeping those jumps up and being able to finish strong. So much thanks goes to my coaches and every single person that has supported me along this journey. For those that saw how drained I was 2 years ago and stuck with me and pushed me to the place I am today, thank you! Yesterday brought my confidence to a new level and I’m going to keep pushing myself to new lengths. 🥇🥇🥇 taken in Ellenton Ice and Sports Complex by @gloria.skates
