I can’t imagine a creative process that goes smoothly in any scenario. At any given time there’s about 100 ideas in my head at once, a handful make it to paper but only a few become a reality. I like to think it’s as easy as “just starting” but there’s so much that happens before. Distractions in this day and age are too real.

Keeping an old tradition alive but in my own way.

I can’t stand a messy cookie tin, with thread bobbins mixed about and tools bashing into each other. On top of that, the excess height of the cookie tin felt under-utilized.

This definitely satisfied my need for organization when the trays fit snug in the tin together. Every tool has its own compartment, ahh life is good.

[DIY OYD - EP. 02] the crossover between sewing and woodworking is crazy

I had done woodworking back in high school but that was way before sewing. Now that I have sewing under my belt, my mind maps out new projects in other crafts the same way. How will panels fix together? What’s does that change for my dimensions? Which way is the grainline? What order should I start assembling this?
