My daughter can express herself with her whole face, body and soul… but English? We are still negotiating to some extent. 😂😭

‎In our house, Igbo is compulsory because it is our common native language. So sometimes, while other people are trying to communicate with her in English, I'm somewhere interpreting in Igbo. 😂🤭

‎One day during my NYSC days, she was about to walk towards someone's table to meet a man drinking Coke. I called her back and warned her in Igbo.

‎My daughter turned around almost immediately and sat beside me.

‎Nobody knew what I said. 😂😂😂

‎And honestly? I LOVE that.
‎
‎Our native languages are part of our identity, culture and heritage. As parents, I really believe we should intentionally teach our children their native languages.

‎It may seem small now, but it can go a long way. I know how much being able to speak mine has helped me, even as an adult.

When you're in the presence of God, ehn, it can be very crazy and funny. You see, God is not a man because He can speak to me (us) in so many ways. For example, through songs dropping in your mind, the particular portion of the Bible standing out to you while reading, a passing comment just speaking directly to you, a video being played without you in mind addressing a situation you have at hand.

If you truly want God to lead you by the hand and teach you, be ready to drop a lot of things and also learn a lot as you grow and go. God is so mighty. I repeat, God is so mighty.

If I'm being stubborn, then there's not much of a mistake, but I know that God has really dealt with me, and it really takes His grace for you to be able to learn whatever He has to teach. If God is not ready for you and, at the same time, doesn't meet your readiness, you're going nowhere. I have a lot to say, but I think this is where I will stop. In fact!!!

God is wonderful oo, and you see, the same way He is invested and interested in you, that's how the enemy is also so fascinated about your being on earth. If you joke with anything God is warning you about and don't act on it, be sure that the devil now has what to work with. May God give us His grace and make us feel His love and protection, even to obey Him when it's not convenient and uncomfortable to adjust.

When I was very much younger, I used to anticipate the month of September simply because I knew I would be celebrating my birthday. It always gladdened my heart. It felt like I was more seen, more alive, and just a little more special that month. 🥹

As the years went by, I realized there was more to life than birthdays. Not that I shouldn't enjoy my life, celebrate my birthday, or embrace my birth month, but I learned that I wasn't living just to celebrate another birthday every year.

I've had people who looked up to me and expected great results from me, and I've also had people watching to see me fail in life. I'm not so old, but I've learned that you don't necessarily have to offend people to gather enough hate from them to want to see you fail.

For some time now, I haven't really embraced my birth month and birthday in a special way. But henceforth, I will celebrate the day and month God decided to release me to the earth. ❤️

I welcome everyone into the month of September. I pray that this month will be a month of the delivery of our due blessings, in Jesus' name. Amen. 🙏🏽

When the reality of having a baby hit me, it came with different emotions because that meant unlocking another stage of my life. On this particular day last year, the doctors had their plans for me but God still came through. I had little to almost no idea of what to do with you and how to handle you. You came big on all sides my baby. You came with the biggest smile, those tiny hugs, the funny words and even the loudest cry. I wasn't even prepared enough to meet you but I just wanted to hold you at every given moment. You made me know what it feels like to be a mum (Even though you're yet to call mummy). Taking care of a child is not easy but God made it easier for me. My smart, intelligent and vibrant little one.
The fact that you can lit up a dull room with just your smile is enough for me to know you're a God sent. I bless the day you were born. My baby you're part of that generation that will serve God. You are blessed and shall be called blessed by men. You will fulfill your purpose in life . You are a successful child. As your name implies my dear, you shall always be victorious. You shall exceed limits. You will not fall. You will not fail God,you will not fail your family and you will not fail the society. Soar high my baby. This is just the beginning of counting years, you shall live long and live up to expectations in Jesus name Amen.

From yesterday's struggles to today's triumphs, I've come a long way. The little Glory of yesterday has blossomed into a proud graduate and loving mom. God's faithfulness astounds me. Where I am today surpasses where I used to be – progress that fills my heart with joy. My life is a testament to God's goodness. I've witnessed miracles; some I've yet to share.

Firstly, we thank Almighty God for making us parents 🤭❤️ as our hearts overflows with love and gratitude as we welcome our new bundle of joy to the family.
