This one is personal. I come from an environment where no one teaches you that you can be whatever the f*** you want to be. So I had to learn that on my own. I had to understand myself, trust myself, and build that belief from scratch. Once I understood that life itself is the gift, the prize, and the journey, everything changed. I decided that nothing could stop me, and from that moment, I knew I would do exactly what the f*** I wanted.

No school.
No training.
Just faith, instinct, and work.

À Paris, une garde de chef(fe)s réinvente les gastronomies subsahariennes, rendant leurs lettres de noblesse à des mets parfois méprisés. Du ndolè servi comme une saucisse purée à la blanquette de veau twistée au baobab, ces chefs afrodescendants bousculent les codes, cassent les clichés et imposent une vision nouvelle et audacieuse de leurs héritages culinaires. Une révolution douce mais puissante que l’on a souhaité raconter à travers notre nouvelle couverture digitale.

La rentrée se passe à table chez Balamb Garden 🌴

Pour cette nouvelle Chef’s Table, on avait envie de vous proposer quelque chose d’un peu différent : la rencontre de @glory_kabe & @orfeoranieri , un duo Congo-italien aussi talentueux qu’inclassable.

Deux personnalités, deux cultures et surtout une cuisine libre, généreuse et un peu décalée, nourrie de leurs voyages et de leurs expériences aux quatre coins du monde.

Et parce qu’une Chef’s Table Balamb Garden ne serait pas tout à fait la même sans eux, @le_chemin_des_vignobles nous accompagne une nouvelle fois avec un accord mets & breuvages dont ils ont le secret. 🍷

About the chefs Glorfeo,

Gloria Kabe & Orfeo Ranieri, two different kitchens, one shared language, and a reggaeton track that turned into a relationship, then into recipes cooked at 2am that never left.

Today they go by the name Glorfeo. Just two people adding what they each know best until it feels right.

This Saturday, Dahlia presents the chefs at their Garden with an Afro Vegan menu. Come taste what sound and food feels like.
