Finally got my copy of the new @consequenceforum issue and guess what?! I was a contributor! 🤭🤭

This story is absolutely dear to my heart and soul because it was roughly drawn from my family’s experiences during the Nigerian-Biafran war.

Some years ago, at Uni, I did my undergraduate project on the war and its impact on minorities. I think working on that project changed something in me. I began to actively imagine what this war did to my people. The Igbo people.

This story is a mix of my family’s experiences, some families in my village's experiences, and my imagination (which can run very wild when allowed).

I am incredibly proud to have been a part of this beautiful body of work because I think Consequence Forum is doing great work.
