Did some much needed TLC at the Jefferson County Historical Village blacksmith shop today. It needs another day of work to make it truly shine, but this was a great day! I’m honored to be part of the historical society and preservation of traditional blacksmithing practices. #gloryforge #blacksmith #history #forge #public by @gloryforge

I really do enjoy teaching the youth about blacksmithing and the historical side that comes with the craft. This was a Boy Scout group that had scheduled a time at the Jefferson County Historical Society. The session was over 3 hrs long and a lot of the boys got to make items from the forge for a merit badge. I was proud of them and the parents for their involvement and great questions as well. #gloryforge #blacksmith #history #boyscouts #youth by @gloryforge

I’m thinking of making wedding venue pieces up for renting. Just extra income and it be unique for sure. What you think? These are some of my pieces I’ll use as templates for table pieces and center pieces as I go.

I had the privilege little over a week ago to have my buddy and his son over to make a knife and some Christmas gifts. They did great and it was a good father son bonding moment as well. I look forward to our next lessons. #gloryforge #blacksmith #family by @gloryforge
