‘Sacred Selfhood’ - Navigating bicultural identity

Join us for an evening of collective self-discovery on the 30th of January 6pm at Soho House Amsterdam, delving into the experience of being bicultural creatives in Western society. The event kicks off with the premiere of ‘Sacred Selfhood’, a short film I made together with fellow young filmmakers Evelyn Imafidon, Olivia Tudor and Sonriza Komproe. It illustrates the journey of a bicultural young man guided by his ancestors to find footing between two worlds. We continue with an after-talk to learn how several emerging creatives navigate the juxtaposition of their cultural backgrounds within their creative practice. Finally, this illuminating evening will be concluded with a moment to reflect and connect with fellow attendees over a drink.

Soho House members can book their spots on the 16th of January in the Soho House app.

Panel speakers and RSVP-link to be announced next week.

Hope to see you there!
