FROM THE ARCHIVES ✨I’m starting a new series across my socials called “From the Archives”. This series will be a collection of reels and photos featuring some of my favorite work over the years. A mix of photoshoots, collaborations, set work, and, most importantly, my truest form of creative expression.As makeup artists, we’re often expected to keep up with trends and constantly create for social media. But lately, social media has felt more like a creative blackout than a source of inspiration. The weight of this new reality, unlivable wages, political unrest, and the separation of families has made it difficult to reconnect with the part of myself that simply loved to create.When I picked up my first makeup brush, life felt lighter. I created because it brought me joy, not because I felt pressured to perform. Makeup has always been my first love. It’s the art form that helped heal my wounds, quiet my worries, and gave me a way to express myself when words couldn’t.This series is my way of finding that feeling again. A reminder that before the algorithms and expectations, there was simply an artist who loved to create. I’m choosing to make space for that version of myself again and reclaim my art.This photoshoot will always be one of my favorites. Happy Valentine’s Day 💋✨Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday. I love everything love and this shoot meant so much to me. It started with just a Pinterest board and lots of ideas in my head. My sisters helped me make the wings out of a roll of foam, the stunning @heavensativa was the perfect muse, and lastly @ddesi captured my vision perfectly.
