POSTS STORIES REELS

For the past 100 years, we’ve transformed blank slates into something completely unrecognizable, but @now.you.glow’s Front Row private shopping event pushed us somewhere new.

Glow Luxury’s Founder and CEO, Lauren, wanted a space where her clients could find their dream luxury handbags, connect, and make memories along the way.

With the help of an incredible vendor team and our own talented crew, we brought this event to life with custom display walls and columns designed to showcase designer handbags, a custom vinyl-wrapped bar, and carefully curated furniture from our rental collection to tie it all together.

Thank you, Lauren, for trusting us with this event. We can’t wait to see how you top it next year!

I’m sure everyone has a normal amount of feelings about this. by @glowc.e.o

I love a beautiful bag. I’ve built a whole business around it.

But as we approach a season of Thanksgiving, having my people together, watching my kids grow up, a body that keeps showing up for me, and a home where I can exhale? I never want to get so busy chasing the next thing that I forget how much I already have.

Some of my favorite pictures. All of my greatest luxuries.

What’s one of yours? by @glowc.e.o

Fashion with a purpose 🤍

So grateful to @invitingar for featuring Glow Luxury in their October issue in support of CARTI’s Festival of Fashion!

Having had the privilege of co-chairing this event for the past two years, I’ve seen firsthand just how special this organization is and the incredible impact it has on families across Arkansas.

CARTI’s mission goes far beyond cancer treatment. It’s about ensuring patients and their families have access to exceptional care, compassion, and support when they need it most, regardless of the challenges they may face.

That’s what makes Festival of Fashion so special. It’s an opportunity to bring our community together through a shared love of fashion while supporting a mission that truly changes lives.

I’m incredibly passionate about the work CARTI does and will always be proud to support this organization. 🩵

Thank you @invitingar and @sarahoden_photo for helping shine a light on such an important cause!

Years ago, I made my team a promise:

If we ever hit a certain (very lofty) goal I had set for Glow, I’d take them on an all-expenses-paid trip. 🌴✈️

Well… THEY DID IT. 🥹

And after the month we just had, there is nobody more deserving. Front Row alone took an unbelievable amount of work. Long days, late nights, thousands of details, and plenty of moments where we were all running on caffeine and vibes 😂 but these girls never stopped showing up.

They took care of our customers. They took care of each other. They jumped in wherever they were needed. And they did it with an attitude and energy that has completely changed what it feels like to walk into Glow every day.

This year has brought a lot of change to Glow, but I can genuinely say I have never been more proud of the team we have today.

We are SMALL but MIGHTY. And what Jacee, Kaylee & Chelsey are able to accomplish as a team absolutely blows my mind.

The customer service. The work ethic. The laughter. The teamwork. The environment they’ve helped create.

I truly believe I have one of the best teams in this industry.

So girls… I made you a promise, and you held me to it. 😂

PACK YOUR BAGS. GLOW IS GOING TO ST. THOMAS. 🌴🇻🇮🥂

You earned this one.

And I couldn’t be more proud of you.

Love,
Lauren

Your proud Founder & CEO by @glowc.e.o

some profound. some expensive. some absolutely ridiculous.

I’ve learned that people may come to you because of what you sell, but they stay because of how you make them feel.

The product matters. The price matters. The website, shipping, packaging…all of it matters. But so does remembering someone’s name. Knowing what they’ve been searching for. Celebrating the good things in their lives and showing up during the hard ones.

Somewhere along the way, Glow stopped feeling like a place where women just buy handbags and became a community I genuinely get to be part of.

You can’t put that on a P&L, but I’m convinced it’s one of the most valuable things we’ve ever built.

Going live to sell handbags? Sure. Creating an alter ego for my husband called Glow Daddy? Naturally. 😂 Turning shopping into entertainment? Building an entire event around it? Why not.

I’ve learned there’s a difference between taking your business seriously and taking yourself too seriously.

Know your numbers. Protect your margins. Have a strategy. Do the boring stuff right.

But try the weird idea. Be willing to look a little ridiculous. Give people something to remember.

Some of the ideas I’ve felt the silliest trying have ended up being some of the best things we’ve ever done.

This one took me a while to learn. Sometimes making a smaller profit quickly is a better business decision than holding onto something for months waiting for the perfect margin.

Inventory is cash. And cash sitting on a shelf can’t be used to buy the next great piece.

I’ve learned that I don’t need to “win” on every single item. Sometimes the win is getting the cash back, putting it back to work, and turning it again.

Margin matters. But so does velocity.

There will always be another sale, problem, employee situation, angry customer, Instagram post, opportunity or emergency. Meanwhile, my kids are getting older. My marriage matters. My health matters. I think learning that building a successful company isn’t ultimately about how much of yourself you’re willing to sacrifice for it. It’s figuring out how to build something enormous without letting it consume the person who built it.

There is rarely a giant flashi by @glowc.e.o

I turned 37 this year, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that wisdom usually comes with a story.

Some of these lessons came from incredible highs. Others came from heartbreak, loss, health scares, hard conversations, and mistakes I hope I don’t repeat.

If my 20-year-old self had listened, she probably would’ve rolled her eyes. 😂 But maybe someone here needs to hear one of them today.

I’d love to know… what’s one thing you’d tell your 20-year-old self? Leave it in the comments. I have a feeling we’ll all learn something from each other. by @glowc.e.o

A few OOTDs lately 👖🧥🧢 by @glowc.e.o

We may have outgrown friendship bracelets… but apparently we just upgraded to matching diamond necklaces. 🤍💎

Cheers to friendships worth celebrating.

P.S. My friend, Alyssa, (@alyssas_custom_corner) custom designed these and her jewelry line @lux.by.lyss.jewelry officially launches at the end of August! ✨ Do yourself a favor and go give her a follow so you don’t miss it. 🤍 by @glowc.e.o
