Two things have been true: I’ve known I wanted to wear a #PninaTornai wedding dress and I’ve known I wanted to get married at a @cescaphe venue for many years. After seeing a photo of the Down Town Club in Philadelphia years ago, I knew deep down was the one, much like finding a dream dress or the perfect partner. Working for Pnina introduced me to the luxury bridal world, and Cescaphe is truly at the top of their game — the best service, incredible food, and multiple gorgeous venues around the Philly area to fit each bride’s aesthetic. In many ways, they are the Pnina of the Philly venue world! there is something incredibly special about creating an experience for the people who spend their days creating them for everyone else.

it was such an honor to partner with @gloweddings to design and host Beyond the Event’s Retreat and to do it at the breathtaking @apollofieldsevents made it even more meaningful.

Beyond the Event holds such a special place in our hearts. To be entrusted with creating a space where event professionals could slow down, reconnect, and find a little tranquility during one of the busiest seasons of the year was a privilege we won’t soon forget.

Beyond the Event was born from a simple idea: wedding planners deserve community, too.

For our fifth gathering, we traded a traditional meeting for a retreat at Apollo Fields, a beautiful horse property and micro wedding venue in Central New Jersey.

We spent the day exploring the grounds, picking flowers, creating bouquets, sharing an incredible omakase meal, painting together in the reading room, and settling into meaningful conversations about business, life, challenges, and dreams.

What I love most about this community is that it’s built on generosity, support, and genuine connection. For a few hours, we stepped away from the demands of our businesses and gave ourselves permission to pause, reflect, share, and learn from one another.

That’s what Beyond the Event has always been about.
