GO BIG OR GO HOME 🌊

From the quiet shores of Ilocos Sur to the heart of Makati City then Silicon Valley, my expat journey has been anything but ordinary. 🇵🇭 I landed in the U.S. with little more than faith, grit, and a fire to grow—and I was met with lessons, mentors, and doors that opened because people believed in me. 💼

As an immigrant, I learned to appreciate every opportunity because I had to work hard for everything. I’ve carried that mindset into my life, and it drives me every day.

Thank you to my first U.S. firm for trusting me, and to the incredible leaders who guided me toward a career I could only dream of back home.

With Vialto Partners, I trained alongside global mobility experts supporting the world’s most iconic tech and finance companies. But the question kept echoing: “What’s next?” So I dared to find out. 💡 Nearly 200 applications later, I found myself interviewing with Amazon, Netflix, McDonald’s HQ, KPMG, and StepStone—each one a reminder that belief and persistence make magic.

Eventually, I signed a full-time offer as Manager of Global Mobility & Immigration at StepStone Group, Inc., reporting directly to the VP and helping its subsidiaries and global offices move talent across borders.

It’s not about the title—it’s a tribute to every risk, every prayer, every sacrifice. 🙏 To my husband @rnbphil and parents this chapter is yours as much as it is mine. And to anyone still writing their story: you are seen, and keep dreaming big. 💖

Adding a new professional license next to my name.

Licensed Real Estate Broker 🇵🇭

I’m grateful to have earned a score that placed me in the top 20 out of 2,296 examinees (top 1%), reflecting a high level of expertise. This outcome reflects years of learning, discipline, and the values my parents instilled in me.

I dedicate this milestone to my mom and dad. Because of their sacrifices, five of us were able to finish college, become successful in our own fields and build lives in the Philippines, US, Australia, and Dubai. Wherever we go, we carry their values, their resilience, and the quiet strength shared by every Filipino family striving for a better future.

I also offer this achievement to the OFWs, expats, small business owners, and professionals who continue to build their family’s legacy or “pamana” through hard work.

Your diligence and perseverance for your loved ones inspire me to serve with excellence, integrity and purpose.

Cheers,

Nacelle Saya, CMA (U.S.), GMS-T, REB
