I don’t know how easy or difficult it is for guitar players to change guitar picks, this holiday season I changed my guitar pick after more than 2 decades. Of course I was anxious, I just need a reason to be 😂 I think I’m well adjusted now. Thank you bro @bimal.dhorda for telling me, “it’s nothing bro… you’ll get used to it” 😂 . . @alberto.music has got some plectrums made out of bone (not human) maybe 🤔 but they’re good. @sunnyjdsouza thank you for suggesting🤘🏾 . . . #indianmusicians #indianguitarist #musician #guitarimprovisation #keepitfunky #groove by @glowworm_jack

Dubai with @kuchalfaazofficial @thenitinmirani @abhiruchimusic . . If I recollect correctly, it was a warm collection of people from the Southeast Asian belt. Dubai, being the potluck of cultures that keeps people dependent on each other not just for work, but I think even to maintain social sanity. They came together to remember the fragrance of the land they come from, the common emotions that bind us all and make us human to sing, laugh, cry, and laugh again. It was a beautiful evening, Dubai thank you for bringing your best. . Some glimpses ✨ by @glowworm_jack

First time Tele . My friend @kepler_musician fab guitar player check his page out. He bought a Tele sometime ago… it’s a Sire Larry Carlton model. I’ve never played a Tele before, infact I’ve never even held one. So I requested him if I can try it out and he was very kind to let me keep it for a few days. . I loved it! It’s a different species of guitar and also humbling… if you’ve owned a Tele or even played one you know what I mean. it’s a block of wood with pickups slapped on it… warm on the neck and stabs you when you hit the bridge pickups. I’ve tried a few guitars recently that makes me want to practice more.😂 like I said, humbling. . Here’s something I recorded with this guitar, nothing fancy… just 2 chords and my limited vocabulary in blues. . by @glowworm_jack
This was my 5th time in Kerala in my almost 4 decades of lifetime. It is always a deeply emotional experience every time I visit Kerala. It is where my parents come from, a place where I have deep roots, but very few memories. I was extra excited for this one because I was performing in my mum’s hometown, Kollam. Not just with an uber-talented lineup, but with the very same people I began my journey with in this line of business. Brothers in arms. Truly extra special. We were backing up an absolute LIVE-wire of a performer, Hamsika Iyer. 🙌🏾 What made it even more electric was that it was a multilingual set... Malayalam classics, Tamizh classics, some Kannada, with a sprinkle of Gujarati, Punjabi, Hindi, and Marathi. I have performed in Kerala before, many years back, and I know how insanely crazy Malayalis are for live music… actually, the whole of the South! 😂 As a true-blue Malayali, I can tell you this, we dance shamelessly, even if we have two left feet. If you’re a Mallu, you know exactly what I’m talking about.🤭 And that’s what happened. Kollam embraced us with the warmest hug and went bat-shiz crazy 🤣 Exactly what we needed.🤘🏾 Thank you, Kerala, I had such a lovely time. Thank you, Hamsi you’re not just a powerhouse of talent, but someone with such a warm heart.✨ Thank you for encouraging me to sing 🙏🏾 I had an absolute blast on stage.✨🙏🏾✨ Thank you Gina for making this experience seamlessly beautiful, this ones for the books.✨🙏🏾✨ Thank you Bhuvi and Milty for the opportunity… deeply grateful for this one, brothers. ✨🙏🏾🤗✨ . #keralam #watergatefestival #kollam #indianmusicians #hamsikaiyer by @glowworm_jack
