i have seen us in the absolute deepest of mud. even the once-adorned possession football with high percentage was far gone. something that i still look closely every game. cheers Arsene. somehow we stuck around and so have i.

from questionable red cards, robbery week-in week-out, Camp Nou 2010/2011, 8-2, losing finals, Baku humiliation, yearly slap from Munchen and Barcelona, missing out on UCL for years, finishing below #them for only several years, sentenced to not be a part of the Big Six because of the performance (still crazy that this was a genuine consideration btw. twats), banter era, #WengerOut, the number four and then two, Emery good ebening, lockdown assna. the list goes on.

and now it is expected for us to be humble. a club of this stature, who is expected to win everything every single season btw. well we have just done that and we will be insufferable for the foreseeable future. hold that. champions again ole ole!

special note to Ayah: we have done it! those years of being annoyed every morning when asked about the score because it was a reminder that we lost the other night. or the nights when you would sit (then immediately sleep) behind me every time Arsenal was on. or your way of talking to me by asking when will we play, against who, and at what time. i knew you wouldn't watch anyway, but you asked (thanks!). what i would give to tell you that The Arsenal have literally beaten Manchester City and is the actual Premier League winner 2025/2026. and in the UEFA Champions league final, 20 years since you woke me up to watch us for the first time and in the UEFA Champions league final too! i know you are watching and you would make the usual surprised face about it, should be the happiest one this time.🔴⚪️ by @glued_shut

Another business trip to tackle. Another blistering cold and early morning, they were second nature to me. Only difference was it was darker and quiet. Somehow it still felt amplified.

I was not in a hurry despite being waited. For the first time there shouldn't be anything to worry about because everything has been set and prepared.

I didn't carry any luggage as I knew it had been handled. There used to be something left behind but I didn't mind. All I looked forward to was another business trip for a long while, only this time I would be at ease.

Must be serendipity in acceptance. Figured I would be in peace that I wouldn't mind the usual turbulence.

The distressed ambience still lingered despite the sun's steady presence. I looked around and there were empty stares and bleary eyes. I didn't want to know why, got a lengthy flight awaited.

I tightened my grip then left all guilt behind for this particular trip. My ego wore off as we took off through the white clouds.

Then something hit me, I had left too many questions unanswered. How did I end up here?

I once had my way with words, then began to stumble through phrases and sentences. Instead, I left them written on the walls, hoping they would be deciphered.

I could have sworn I didn't need a rest. But it got to a point that I think this vessel has been overdriven and it was appropriate to lay my head.

Should I have listened when everyone told me to slow down? In my defense, I just wanted everything to be in place.

But it is to be expected that I was slightly battered and battle-worn. At least I can recline and situate for a longer bit. It is pleasant and lighter up here.

Later I would be the one waiting in the arrival terminal. Until then, I will sleep and rest soundly. Just know I have always been on time, no need to worry.
